What a great place! Happy hour menu. Fun frozen blueberry crush drink. We had oysters, sliders and cheese stick. Outdoor patio has huge tv, old airstream, bus and boat they serve food out of. We will be back!

Having to eat gluten free, it was so nice to find this gem of a restaurant. Malachi was very kind, helpful, and able to answer any questions that we had. It was so nice to have a menu that had more than just one or two items on there to select from. My gluten free friends, go visit 1229 Shine. You won’t be disappointed.

This place is one of the best kept secrets in Myrtle Beach! The atmosphere is so unique and cool and the food was absolutely delicious! The tacos and brussel sprouts were amazing and so were the deviled eggs with lobster and bacon. They even have a whole separate menu for gluten free options and they can make most of the menu in gluten free modifications. This is a super cool spot to hang out with the whole family or just with a bunch of friends.

If you are gluten free this place is a MUST. The gf grouper bites were phenomenal. The smash burgers and mac were delicious as well, but the grouper was so good it’s worth doubling down for apps and entree. Service is kind and super fast.

We went on a quiet day in the mid-afternoon, sat outside and had a great time. The service was attentive, the ambience was very pleasant, and the menu is fantastic. I had the smokehouse Mac and my wife had some tacos, both were excellent. The drink menu is also excellent, some fun creative cocktails. Would definitely go again next time we’re in town!

Amazing gluten free grouper sandwich.
I got mine with the slaw on the side because I like old people coleslaw ( chopped up in tiny squares) and I knew I probably wouldn’t like it( I didn’t but it’s not because it’s bad, just not to my taste). I got the bang bang sauce on the side because I’m a sauce person and with fried food I like the perfect sauce to bite ratio but also not a big fan of sweet sauces with fish. Also got the remoulade on the side to try. The remoulade was fantastic!
Plain fried grouper( almost has a tempura type batter) with remoulade on some bread? Yes please. It was so crispy and the fish was cooked perfectly. I haven’t had a fish sandwich this good in 15 years. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area.
Service was great, attentive without being overbearing. The outside patio is beautiful and looks like a fun place to be during events. I also got some gluten free bang bang grouper bites with no bang bang sauce and remoulade on the side as a car snack for my trip back, those were amazing too.
Overall a great find and I haven’t had any reaction to the food so far so thank you for a delicious meal, I’ll be seeing y’all again soon.

Best place we’ve been to in Myrtle beach, the food is amazing and the drinks were great. Our server was super kind and attentive. The atmosphere is clean and well designed. And for me it was the prices, everywhere we’ve been has been over priced and poorly done but here the prices are great. 10/10 come here!!

Thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. The coconut shrimp appetizer was AMAZING. There is a coconut curry in the batter and it was perfect with the sweet sauce given. The flounder and shrimp basket were perfect and tasted fresh. Their batter is awesome. Kids cheeseburger was huge and cooked just right. Will def be back on our trips to MB.
