Ordered 3 chicken taquitos, 1 chicken tostado, 1 chicken quesadilla app, guacamole, chicken fajitas with bean salad, a side of refried beans. $57.36
They absolutely don’t accept Amex cards at all. Unbelievable, beyond disappointing.
The corn chips are quite greasy, but crunchy.
The guacamole isn’t too bad. We asked for jalapeños to add to it, we got pickled jalapeños. I would have thought they would have loads of fresh jalapeños, given the type of cuisine here. The pickled jalapeño gives the guacamole a very different taste to it.
Cheese everywhere. Ugh. All over the taquitos and the chicken tostada too.
The chicken in the taquitos are hard as jerky. The rest of the chicken in the taquito is super dry.
The bean salad is so-so, has overcooked peas in it, corn, bland beans, red pepper, tomatoes.
The chicken fajita is okay, a tad dry, there’s some tomatillo or salsa verde in the grilled chicken with the red pepper, green peppers and onions.
The small pico that comes with the fajita has good heat, from the fresh jalapeños.
The quesadillas have a ton of cheese, not a lot of chicken inside, looks like an after thought.
Service was ok.
Food was subpar. Nothing notable.
Mexican Market nextdoor. We eat here at la few times a month.
We got the quesabirria tacos and oh man, amazing. Full of flavor, melty cheese and crispy! The consomme was so flavorful!
Their refried beans are absolutely delicious as was the rice.
Restaurant was super clean and our waitress was so sweet and helpful. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.
Our server was dry—not rude, just not very welcoming—but she got the job done. We started with the queso, which was honestly terrible. Ended up sending it back.
I ordered the quesadilla birria and would give it a 5/10. It lacked flavor and spice. The rice was decent, though I didn’t understand the addition of peas. The dipping sauce was also bland and lacked any depth of flavor.
Overall, not a place I’d return to or recommend.
