I went here recently with my book club and had an immaculate experience. It was a beautiful home and had the exact vibes you were hoping for.
The dishes were so pretty as was the general decor. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. And the food and tea were amazing.
I cannot wait to go back again.

We were expecting more for the money, $22pp (times 3). The tea items on the tray were sparse and not very flavorful as opposed to the Bakery items on display. The chicken salad tea sandwiches appeared to have store bought rolls instead of their yeast rolls they sell at the bakery. No lemon curd or raspberry jam for the bland vanilla scones. A good variety of tea choices. The house is like a museum and lovely to walk around in.

We celebrated my 5-year-old daughter’s birthday at The Johnson Tea Room, and had a wonderful experience! They accommodated a party of 14 children (mostly 4–5 years old) with such ease and patience. Ms. Laura was wonderful with the kids—kind, engaging, and organized.
The children loved the delicious food, the hot chocolate, and even the herbal tea. The adults enjoyed their coffee and the relaxing atmosphere. After the party, it was nearly impossible to get the kids to leave—they had the best time exploring the beautiful garden, playing on the hammock and tree swing, and enjoying the magical fairy garden.
Thank you, The Johnson Tea Room, for a special and memorable birthday experience! We look forward to visiting again!

Me & my friend went here for the first time & it was such a great experience! We choose the tea service. We were 30 mins late but when we got there we still felt welcomed and our experience wasn’t rushed despite our late arrival. The house is beautiful and very well preserved. The food was great and filling (the scones especially are soooo good and fresh) the service was so good we felt so welcomed and had fun the entire time. I totally recommend this place!! It is very beautiful. Thank you so much 🙂

I reserved a table to enjoy high tea a few days before Christmas. Plenty of free parking and easy access to the entrance. Festive decorations adorned the historic house and beautiful instrumental seasonal music played softly. At the table, I was provided a list of teas to choose from and a menu of what would be served for the high tea. Staff was cheerful, pleasant and knowledgeable of the flavors offered. Everything from the scones to the sandwiches to the desserts were handmade with the freshest ingredients. I was impressed with the flavor of the plum-apricot jam. The white chocolate, citrus and pistachio bark was my favorite of the dessert offerings. As I had chosen to dine alone, I enjoyed the warm holiday ambiance, the low chatter from neighboring table guests and soft music as I read selections of Christmas poetry on my phone. It was a delightful way to mark my 55th birthday.

Had a wonderful time today at the 11am service with my Auntie! Service was well paced and all staff members were lovely – they even called a day ahead to offer some celery-free chicken salad because I am a bit sensitive. Flavor of everything was delightful and we got a few treats to go too! Apron are sewn by a local lady and a few other gift shop items looked local too which i ADORE on a community level. A lovely spot to visit a while and a nice place to take family when they’re in town
