We have experienced repeated order accuracy and service issues at the Glenview McDonald’s on Waukegan over an extended period, and unfortunately this weekend’s visit was another example. And it ruined my children’s evening. I’ve advised my kids to avoid this restaurant location if they don’t want to be further disappointed. It’s not worth continued issues and disappointment.
This evening, we ordered four cheeseburgers. Despite confirming the order three separate times after staff initially stated it was for two, we ultimately received fewer than ordered. When we raised the issue, we were told to drive back to the restaurant to receive the missing items. A refund was requested due to the inconvenience, but we were told that could only be handled by the general manager the following day, which is unreasonable.
This is not an isolated incident. Over the past few years, we have experienced numerous failed orders, including cheeseburgers served without cheese, incorrect toppings added despite clear receipt instructions, and missing items. At least two orders have been incorrect in the past three months alone, and an estimated five to ten over the past couple of years.
McDonald’s is known for consistency and reliability, which is why customers choose it. Unfortunately, this location consistently falls short. At this point, we are reconsidering whether to continue patronizing this restaurant unless meaningful corrective action is taken to improve accuracy and service.

When my grandma that just so happens to be my mom‘s aunt and my siblings’s girlfriend was so impressed with the Zabi Halal menu and all the delicious pork, fish, scallops, and lobster. It was so succulent and juicy, and the Puerto Rican rice was absolutely to die for.

Guys if you have another McDonald’s closer to you go there not here they have gotten every single order wrong and I’ve had to go back and get the right order. They can’t even get a happy meal right.

This place really is terrible. I ordered a kids meal for my son and he’s a growing boy who was really hungry so i had got the kids meal and a double patty and extra fries. When i got home they literally forgot the patty and the extra fry. I was so livid because their phone number attached to the site doesn’t even work. What kind of mcdonald’s when i call you can’t have a working number. Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. I was forced to drive another 4 miles back to this mcdonald’s(8 MILES TOTAL FOR SOMETHING THEY MESSED UP FROM MY MOBILE ORDER) And when i gave them the box to see they took it and never gave me back the milk i brought and PAID for and only the sandwich. This is a terrible location and I advise for your money and time don’t order here. There’s so many nearby that are better just don’t waste the time, trouble, and hassle of going here and go to any other one please. I know I definitely will.

About half of the items I get from this location are inedible in the 3-4 times I’ve ordered from here. I am fond of McDonalds but I am not fond of THIS McDonalds
Things like recieving an Oatmeal at 8am that has a sticker that says “Enjoy by 5:41am” and a Sausage Egg and Cheese with meat that smells sour and is overcooked is pretty disappointing. For some reason I got double cheese without asking for it?
This is only one of the orders and was finally enough for me to drop a 1 star review. $12+ can get you breakfast from a bunch of different places in Glenview – I wouldn’t spend it here.

Ordered breakfast towards the end of service time, and were told when we pulled into drive-thru for pickup that they didn’t make our order – to close to end of breakfast – saying we “should have called”.

Worst service ever. Understaffed. Placed a mobile order for pickup in the restaurant. Waited 15 minutes. People were walking in from their mobile spot asking why they have been waiting for 20 minutes. Driving home I find out the gave me a coffee straw for my large iced tea. Idiots.
