We ate here over the holidays and it was amazing! We were in the area over the summer and found the food scene a bit wanting but no longer with Flavor Cult in the area! We live in NYC and if this restaurant was closer we would come all the time. The food is so well prepared and great care is taken into the flavors and textures. It really was a very memorable experience for us. It’s a delight for the senses! We came for dinner one night and the next day for lunch. The decor was fun and we loved the music. Everything we ate was wonderful- lentil soup, gluten free pizza (amazing sauce and beautiful mushrooms and basil), cochino divino, wings, Santa Fe rice bowl, dips appetizer! If you’ve made it this far in the review definitely eat here!!!!

One of the most incredible meals I’ve ever had! Everything was so fresh and flavorful at lunch that we had to try their brunch the next day. We were in town for 2 days and came both because of how delicious everything was. The food is better than most meals I’ve had in NYC AND much cheaper. Paola, the owner, is so kind and welcoming, and her husband and father are working magic in the kitchen. If you are in the area (and even if you aren’t) you need to come here!!! I am now a Flavor Cult evangelist – this restaurant alone made me want to visit the area again.

INCREDIBLE family owned place with the best food we’ve had anywhere in the area. Outstanding lunch, dinner, and brunch options at a super affordable price but with quality and care that is completely off the chart. A must visit!!

Stopped here after spending the weekend at a nearby cabin, amazing service, amazing food and warm family owned environment. We had Greek, Italian, and Spanish food and all tasted authentic. Would recommend to anyone in the area, worth going out of your way for.

Flavor Cult is exactly the kind of restaurant you hope to stumble upon in a small town — bold, creative, and genuinely exciting. Even reading the menu felt like an experience in itself. Every dish was so intriguing that it became one of those meals where you just trust the process and let the chef do his thing. And when I tell you I haven’t had food this thoughtful, clever, and flat-out delicious since moving out of NYC…I mean it.
The flavor combinations were spot-on. Things that might look a little “different” when you read them somehow end up tasting completely natural — and absolutely incredible — once they hit the plate.
We ordered a bunch to share:
Smash burgers – perfect crust, juicy, ridiculously good. Big portion for the price. Forgot to get a picture of these.
Birria tacos – rich, tender, and loaded with flavor.
Crab empanadas –my husband was dying over these!
The Choe – a burrito wrapped in calzone dough (!) and shockingly amazing.
Peruvian chicken special- came with three sides and omg- the sauce!!
Kids’ chicken fingers + quesadilla – kids were very happy
Also, the horchata to drink. Not too sweet- perfectly balanced flavors.
Everything was phenomenal — no missed notes, no filler dishes. My only dilemma now is what to order next time. I want to try the rest of the menu, but the items we had were so good, I don’t know how I’ll convince myself to branch out.
Please, please support this restaurant. Flavor Cult is something special, and you will not be sorry you ate here.

This place is a gem. We stopped in on a Friday night just looking to share a couple appetizers and ordered the Korean wings and beef empanadas – both were amazing! The service was great and everyone was so kind. We couldn’t get over the wings- so we decided to place a second order (Thai caramel- also delicious) to go, along with more empanadas and a slice of delicious chocolate tres leches cake. Would absolutely come back!

We are so lucky to have flavor cult in our neighborhood! Looking for a place to go early on a Sunday afternoon in winter, we stopped in for the first time. Guests were already there. We were greeted right away with smiles and a welcoming vibe. Great tap beer selection- something for everyone. The vibe definitely gets you talking and having a good time right away. When Chef Oscar wasn’t cooking, he was behind the bar pouring & chatting with guests. We ordered & shared a crafted personal pizza. Great topping combos & baked to perfection. They are working on getting their permanent liquor license so the cocktail options are still limited. The take out window was active too. You probably won’t watch a ball game there but we didn’t miss it. They aim to please! Ran into local friends there & met some visitors too. This is our new “go-to” spot! We’ll be back again soon! Thanks Flavor Cult!

I stopped in on Saturday and was immediately drawn in by the fun stuff playing on the tv’s and decor depicting my heroes. The food was outstanding with hospitality to match. It was so good I came back the next day. I’ve tried the wings, the burgers and the brunch. It’s hard to even pick out a favorite because everything was stellar. Super happy to have this place and looking forward to many more meals.

I’ve been to Flavor Cult twice now, and both visits meant more to me than just grabbing a good meal. The first time I stopped in was when I was in town looking at a potential house. The food was absolutely banging—fresh, bold, cooked perfectly, and made with real intention. You can taste the pride in every bite. On top of that, the service was top tier. Super welcoming, no rush, no fake hospitality. The second time I came back was during the home inspection. We ultimately decided to walk away from the house, but Oscar, the owner, took the time to talk with us and even connected us with another local opportunity he thought we might be interested in. That level of thoughtfulness and authenticity isn’t something you see every day. That’s not something you forget. Oscar is the kind of owner who doesn’t just care about food. He cares about people and the community. You can tell Flavor Cult isn’t just a restaurant to him; it’s something he’s proud of and something he stands behind. Amazing food, incredible service, and a place run by someone with real integrity. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is 100% worth your time. I’ll be back, no question.
