I am big on oysters, and I can say this was top 3 I’ve had. They tasted so fresh, the condiments were good, they were all a good size, the presentation was simple but pretty. Very impressed. On top of that, their drinks were outstanding and we were pleasantly surprised by the pasta dish we ordered! A beautiful restaurant with a great location, and great food, drinks, and staff.

We travel to South Louisiana often and driving back home my husband found this restaurant so we went to try it out. The atmosphere is great, the service was great and the food was great. The only complaint is alot of the pictures of food on the reviews we didn’t see on the menu. Not sure if it depends on the day of the week or the time of day to see some of those items. But what we did have was good. And it is a unique restaurant. Eating outside was pleasant and the view was nice.

Roseate Spoonbills are gorgeous in the wild, so you know I had to try this location!
We started with the tuna nachos which were delicious.
We moved to the Duck Tacos and they didn’t disappointed. I’d had to add anything, I would have added pico instead of just cilantro.
The kids enjoyed their burgers.
The Cesar Salad was good as well.
Only regret, I didn’t try a desert 🙂

Incredible food, great atmosphere and fabulous selection of local beer and quality booze. Surprisingly good selection of AMARO at reasonable prices. Great bar staff and friendly help. Highly recommend the beet salad appetizer or street corn appetizer. Specials of the day are typically worthwhile.

Stopped in based on recommendations and didn’t disappoint. Food and service was Excellent. Had the Steak Nachos and “Commander in Beef” cheese burgers. Burger could have been bigger but was good either way. Finished off with the Tres Leches dessert. Great little gem of a restaurant.

Went on a Saturday and got there just as it opened. It is located inside a renovated gas station and is so awesome. Indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were all A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!! We loved the retro ceramic dishes. Plus, the food was absolutely fantastic. Try the fried cauliflower!! This place is a must try. You won’t be disappointed We’ll be back for sure as well.

We had the duck tenders and ceviche so good! My son had the BBQ shrimp, it was okay we wouldn’t order it again. The coolest little restaurant, it’s small so make a reservation if you can. Definitely will eat there if we are back in town.

We stopped in at the Spoonbill for a quick lunch, and it did not disappoint! We were able to choose between outside and indoor seating. It was a lovely day, so we opted to eat outside. Each table had its own umbrella, which might not have been enough if we had a fourth person in our party, but it was perfect for our party of three. Our service was friendly and the food arrived quickly. I highly recommend the coconut rice. It was absolutely delicious!! There were many enticing options on the menu, so I hope to return on our next trip to the area!

The only reason I gave this restaurant, a three store was because they ran out of seafood, and the majority of the menu consisted of items with seafood. So options were pretty limited. I think I would’ve had a better time if I was able to order the items I really wanted to eat. The atmosphere, on the other hand, was very relaxed. Not too quiet, but at the same time you were able to enjoy yourself with friends and family.
