Food had been extremely hit or miss lately. One of their biggest issues is not letting their hashbrowns sit in the fryer basket to drip off before throwing them into bags. We got breakfast this morning and EVERYTHING from biscuit to napkins was covered in a thick layer of fryer grease and the hashbrowns were very undercooked!!

What a great local watering hole. It’s not fancy, but the food is top-notch. The gravy biscuit is the best in town, along with their chili dogs and double cheeseburgers. I LOVE their unsweetened tea.

I come here 2–3 times a week, so clearly I like the food, when it’s done right. But more often than not, I’m handed a greasy mess that soaks through the bag before I even get home. It’s frustrating because when they get it right, it’s great. But the inconsistency is exhausting.
On top of that, there’s always pushback over the smallest, most fixable things. For example, I just want to swap the drink in my combo for an iced coffee. Not an outrageous ask but instead of a simple upcharge like literally every other place, I’m told it has to be a whole separate $4 drink. It’s not the money, it’s the principle. Feels like no one in management is willing to make small changes that would actually improve the experience for regulars.
Shouldn’t have to argue or settle every time I just want a quick breakfast.

The Lexington location on Talbert I personally believe is the best one. Their sweet tea is ALWAYS on point! Known for their grand fluffy biscuits that will literally melt in your mouth fresh out the oven. Breakfast is served all day and they’re open until 3. I have yet to try their lunch because I love the breakfast so much my favorite is cheese grits and a side of sausage every now and then or when I have my grandkids I’ll get the pancakes. These aren’t just any flapjacks; they’re sweet and soft and fluffy and you barely need any syrup. 10/10 recommend

Once again and time after time I get disappointed. The last several doordash orders I placed each one had raw fries so I thought that I would make a note for crispy fries in which I did. Guess what undercooked, uneatable, and costly. This is unacceptable. Would you feed this to your mother? If you are offering a product and service to sale then at the very least you should make sure the food is cooked correctly and not sent out raw. I’m done with this establishment. I’ll order from #8 instead and wait and pay the difference for my doordash order Maybe they have some common sense. Also, I snapped a pic of your raw fries in case you care to see or are concerned at the least.
