Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Pleaseeeee do not eat at this restaurant. The food is mediocre. Your order will always be wrong and the restaurant always have long lines in the drive through. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Eat at your own risk. I orderd a sausage breakfast bowl and the gravy was white in color and watery. The hasbrowns were old and the eggs were hard. Every time I eat at this location I get sick but I mean it is in Rusk.

The guy working the register was absolutely the Best . I asked him what he recommended for breakfast and he gave me several of his personal favorites. He brought my food to me while I was getting my drinks. I had forgot to order a milkshake and he had it in my hand within 2 minutes with a drink holder. He was very professional and so friendly. He will be the reason I go back to this Whataburger. Wish I could remember his name .

We had a $37 order. The fries were cold. Both chicken sandwiches were cold. No condiments were in the order as we specified. Dark an dreary inside decor in my opinion. Asked for 2 glasses for water and they wanted $.38 per cup. I can see that, if we hadn’t purchased food. We won’t be patronizing this Whataburger again.

I when to this location for Brunch at 11:30AM today. The staff was very very nice. I like my Hamburger vegetables on “the side”. Whoever was working in the back also did a fantastic job. The Jalapeños were hot. The service was fantastic. The outside and the inside were both very clean. An definite improvement since my last visit pre pandemic.l ended up making a Jalapeño Cheese Burger and brought the vegetables home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to the cashier Ms Sherrill that took my order

Pleasant enough staff, maybe they’re shorthanded because service can be particularly slow sometimes and sometimes the order is not correct which can be an allergy issue. Overall decent for the price but fast food is very limited in this small town.

Service is hit-and-miss. When the adults are there, it’s generally great. But weekends and nights, you need to check your food thoroughly before you leave – order isn’t right at least half of the time when the kids are left unattended.

I have loved Whataburger for over 30 years, but have never had such a bad repeated experience as this location. We order in the evening and almost always have a confrontational, disrespectful person take our order. Then almost invariably have the order come out wrong. For the price, excellent service and accurate orders should be compulsory. The past 5 times I have come here has been an evening ruining experience, and unfortunately I don’t intend to come back.

I used to go out of my way to go to this Whataburger. They don’t accept mobile orders in the drive through on the app so you have to pick up at the counter or curbside. I just waited 40 minutes in a curbside spot and watched staff hanging out with customers coming in and out getting in and out of cars. Finally I drive through the drive through and they grab my order from under a heat lamp that has been sitting there for who knows how long. Time to find a different Whataburger

I recently visited Whataburger and had a great experience with their food. Everything was delicious, with a menu offering fantastic variety and fresh ingredients. The service was fairly average, nothing extraordinary but efficient enough to get the job done. The atmosphere was quite pleasant, providing a comfortable and inviting space to enjoy a meal.
