Review Time With Tim
When looking over reviews for this restaurant, kind of a mixed bag some people really love it. Other people are turned off, so I decided to go and experience it. When entering the restaurant, you definitely get an old school vibe kind of reminds me of my grandmother‘s basement. We ordered several different dishes off the menu all came out hot and tasty. After looking over review complaints, I think people have to realize this is not a downtown Hyannis bougie restaurant, and once you take a step back and realize the vibe of the place then a lot of the negative complaints about the place kind of go away. I had the fish and chips. It was the cheapest price I found in probably all of Cape Cod and it was good chunks of fish. Everything we ordered came out promptly. Everything was hot and tasty. One complaint was parking the parking lot. There was plenty of room. I don’t know what that’s about. A very popular spot with locals, this no frills restaurant and bar always seems to draw large crowds at dinner time.
I enjoy the pizzas, and we’ve had good luck with their pasta dishes as well.
Service could be a bit speedier, but overall it’s a decent restaurant if you’re looking for something less touristy.

We go every year the service we had this time was great. He was very friendly, very attentive. He had a cute little accent and was very friendly. We split the antipasti special that came with the small pizza. It was perfect and just enough for both. We took the bread pudding home for dessert, it was ok, a little too chocolate for me. I would definitely continue to go back. Great for kids too.

The food was homemade. Loved the lasagna, meatballs and freshly made Greek salad. Our server was sweet and attentive. Wish I remembered her name.

Went off season to have pizza. We went in and waited to be seated but no one came. Bar was busy and waitstaff saw us. We seated ourselves. There wasn’t anyone else in the dining area except for us. Waited again and no one came. So we got up to see if we could get service and over heard the wait staff say ” i guess they can’t read” regarding the wait to be seated sign. Told her we could read and I think it caught her off guard she was instantly nice. We ordered boneless wings, they were decent, not really any complaints. The pizza on the other hand a different story. It was small. And appeared to be like a frozen pizza you could buy from stop and shop. We ate it. It wasn’t terrible. Just disappointing and kind of pathetic. We won’t be going back.

Good place to hang out for a couple of drinks. Bartenders were very nice and out going, but the food was was your typical bar food. The coconut shrimp was overcooked and probably was from BJ’s. Hawaiian pizza had absolutely no favor. The prices were fair, upbeat atmosphere and there is plenty of parking. Great pour on the wine. !! I would go back if I was in the area again, but just for a quick drink.

Review of Giardino’s – 4.5/5 Stars
I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Giardino’s in West Yarmouth, Massachusetts, about five times now, and I can confidently say that this Italian gem consistently delivers a delightful experience. While my teenage kids find the pizza to be just average (still good, mind you), I believe the overall food quality is happily above expectations!
One standout dish for me was the stuffed pepper soup. I had never tried it before, and it was a remarkable surprise! The flavors were rich and comforting, and I can’t wait to order it again on my next visit. The chicken parmigiana was another highlight; it was perfectly sauced and, unlike many places, didn’t have the typical acidity that can sometimes ruin the experience for me. This is a dish I’ll definitely keep coming back for.
As for the baked ziti, it features a creamy sauce that leans heavily toward cheesy goodness rather than a traditional tomato sauce. This may come down to personal preference, but I found it to be a a slightly different twist. The garlic bread was soft, but still crispy in all the right parts – another highlight of a fairly basic Italian staple.
On a recent Sunday visit, the place was packed, primarily because the Patriots were playing. It was heartwarming to see the local crowd, mostly over fifty, creating a supportive and surprisingly respectful atmosphere for what could easily have been a raucous sports bar vibe. I truly appreciate that Giardino’s strikes a perfect balance—plenty of TVs to catch the game without the unbearable noise that often accompanies sports venues. Just a heads up for other team fans: during Patriots games, all TVs will be tuned to the game, so plan accordingly!
Overall, I highly recommend Giardino’s for anyone looking for a solid Italian meal in a welcoming environment. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Ordered a bbq chicken sub with cheese to go. When I got home I was very disappointed in what they called a bbq chicken sub. Very little amount of chicken. More cheese and air than anything. Also, got an order of the buffalo tenders which consisted of 5 small tenders. Very disappointing.
The “sub” was $13 and the tenders were $12.
I went back to the restaurant and showed them the the sub. He touched it with his un gloved finger and pointed out the only piece of chicken. I asked if that was the normal amount of chicken for a $13 sub and he said yes.

Talk about old school cape cod Italian food. It checks all the boxes! I enjoyed my ravioli with meatballs very much and the flavors and warmth were there (even though I got take out). However, the presentation could have used some work and it was slightly disappointing that we didn’t get bread.

Every single dish we tried was cooked to perfection, fell in love with their marinara sauce and clam chowder, the put roast was cooked to perfection, even the vegetables in the sandwich and salads were fresh and well dressed. The service was great and the place was clean and well maintained, they also have a Live sports playing on the TV, overall it was a good place to hang out with friends or have a nice sit down dinner with family
