We don’t live in the community but we met some of our family here for a birthday lunch at noon on a Saturday. The service was great. Food was great. Reasonable price. Great seat on the back patio where it was enclosed and heated. One suggestion is to get your name and time to the “gate” (security) ahead of time. We did not know that we needed to have our name loaded in a guests but worth asking the restaurant how to do that before you leave. The team at the security gate was super nice. A great day.

Great place to relax and enjoy a meal by the water. Dockside Marina has a laid-back atmosphere, beautiful lake views, and solid food. The seafood is fresh, the drinks are cold, and it’s an awesome spot to hang out with friends or family, especially on a nice day. Service is friendly and the vibe feels like a mini getaway without leaving town. Definitely worth stopping by.

Food is honestly hit or miss…. I’ve never been a fan of crinkle fries, but it’s simply because they’re too thick & somehow get cold fast. Tacos are good, but seem kind of “run of the mill”. But they’ve got some delicious appetizers, wraps & sandwiches! But the atmosphere is really where it’s at!!
Whether you want a quiet lunch date with friends, to have a Mom & me lunch with your kiddo or you want to get a little rowdy with friends, Dockside is the place! Tons of great artists perform regularly! The staff is fun & laid back! And the drinks are always ice cold! And you really can’t beat a lakefront view
It can be a little confusing when you first go in…call ahead & they will call the guard entrance to put your name on the list. YOU CANNOT JUST DRIVE UP!! I usually try & call within an hour or so before heading that way & I’ve never had a problem. You’ll need to show the guard your ID so don’t be that car holding up the line… We’ve honestly been around 6 times or so & not once have we been disappointed!

Outdoor seating with lake views. Perfect for sunset views. The lobster dog was excellent. Alcoholic drinks were subpar but affordable. The servers and host were not very knowledgeable on the music events or food. We enjoyed the live performance of cover music.

I visited Fairfield today as a guest and had a terrible experience. Unfortunately, I was immediately greeted by an extremely rude woman with glasses, who was unwelcoming to both me and my friend. Later, when I arrived at the marina, another woman repeatedly circled my car and tried to look inside, which made me extremely uncomfortable. When I rolled down my window, she tried to make up an excuse for her behavior.
I left shortly after because the experience was unsettling. That said, I’ve been here before and the view really is beautiful, and the food is good, but definitely on the pricey side. Overall, while the location itself is nice, I found the people in this town to be quite rude, which really took away from the experience.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this needs to be said. And I’m not the first person to review with the same problem. We frequent here regularly. We live in Fairfield. We’ve sat outside the past couple of times as it’s been beautiful weather and the sunset on the lake is amazing. I have to say the staff need to be trained better to be aware of customers. If they’re busy, just acknowledge and say “we’ll be with you shortly”. We sat outside for about 10 minutes and servers walked by us, we ended up getting our own drinks at the bar. Didn’t mind doing that, but, they didn’t even acknowledge us. We sat for an other 15 minutes and nobody came to see if we needed menus. My husband ended up going into the bar and asking the host and bartender. Another 5 minutes later our server arrived. She was a pleasant girl and apologized after I said that we’d been waiting for quite a while. Food was disappointing. My husband had lemon pepper chicken wings which were served in a pool of fryer grease. We left half of them. Staff need to be more aware of their surroundings. I was in the service industry and I have been very disappointed with our last two visits. Service needs to improve.

The calamari was perfect. The bartender was very pleasant and knowledgeable which can be hard to find these days. I was there during the day, it was calm and refreshing looking out over the lake.

First time ordering from here and surely will be last .After spending $120 , it’s not worth it at all . Lobster roll and crab roll both tasted fishy . The fried pickled chips , and potato skins looked nothing like picture . The Ruben sandwich is pictured with these slabs of pork . Would not recommend at all .
