Took my sister for her post graduation dinner. We had the best time, the food was amazing, and the service exceptional. Owners are so caring and generous, they gifted us an appetizer dish and a slice of cake Plus took pictures of my sisters cap. They seemed genuinely so proud of her (a total stranger). Definitely the type of business you would want to support.
We came back a few times after and got the same amazing service and food. So they are pretty consistent with their quality. Taking all my friends here!
About the food: we had empanadas, cachapas, arepitas fritas, tequeños, papelon con limón, nestea, jugo de parchita y de guanábana. Everything was delicious. Craving their empanadas as I type

Food was awesome, cant complain. Maybe more nata but my preference.
Mandocas do have Anis so it has a really strong taste.
The spot has some nice things to buy from homeland.

I am Venezuelan specifically from Maracaibo. I am afraid that I have to give this place a poor review. The food is not good at all. I had the Venezuelan sampler. The food was not hot, not fresh at all and not authentic, in the sampler the shredded beef was season as a Cuban “ropa viaje” and trust me i LOVE ropa viaja but that is not a Cuban place, the “cachapa” was very pasty and the list goes on. The Hallaca was ok but think because everything else was bad my mind was already turned off by the food and the hallaca was also cold and they took forever to bring it out because they were heating it up. For drinks we had papelon and it was good and my cafe latte was good.
Needles to say, not good at all! My entire bill was roughly $50
The atmosphere is cute. And just as I am giving a poor review on the food, I must say the staff is very friendly and always smiling, I actually felt bad on a dish that was not to my liking and sent it back (something I really dislike doing). The dish sent back was what we call a “tumbarancho” when ordering please keep in mind they will give you a regular arepa with the filling in the menu; however a “tumbarancho” is smothered in a special batter and deep fried and that is NOT what’s given. Sad to say I will NOT be going back.

Consistent good food at this little joint every time I visit Boca Raton area. They also have frozen specialties to take home. Even the cheese is made in house by an experienced former ranger at a ranch back in Venezuela.

I called in and order empanadas, TEQUEÑOS and cachapa.. the empanadas so expensive $4 and you get very skinny empanada barely nothing on it (terrible)
The TeQueños are amazing, the chicha is so delicious and the cachapa is good!!
Also they need to train more the person who take orders by the phone, they don’t know how much is the total of your orders and u have to wait for then to figure out.. also one person said they do have arepitas dulces and the other person said no they don’t have it!!! So confused
