I ordered a “cheeseburger” It was so small I had to go back to the counter and ask if they accidentally gave me a slider! Why don’t you just say how much it weighs on the menu or say it’s a slider. To call a 3 oz piece of chopped meat a burger is outrageous! And then charge $10 for it do better! The worst part is I was more hungry after I ate it than before I came in and had to go buy a sandwich somewhere else after just so I didn’t starve to death!

Have been traveling to New Jersey over four years now as an OTR truck driver and stopped off across the street for parking for the weekend. Figured I would check out Humptys . Great food and friendly service ! I haven’t yet found a place with burger and onion rings as massive as they were , and the shakes were easy to drink with lots of selection! The advantages of being able to travel for work. Thank you for the experience.

While staying at a nearby campground, I stopped in for lunch and had the best chicken sandwich I’ve had in a long time. I think they use a beer batter—oh my God, it was delicious! I also ordered burgers for my friends, who really enjoyed them, and treated myself to a cotton candy milkshake that was absolutely amazing. All the sandwiches came with fries, which were tasty, and we tried a hotdog that was so good, I came back another day just to pick up more. Honestly, it’s probably a good thing I don’t live closer, or I’d be here nonstop for the chicken sandwiches, hotdogs, and all the ice cream options. Highly recommend!

This is our third time visiting humpty junior’s the first time for 2026.
I tried the barbecue meatloaf grilled cheese, and I can see why this was award-winning. It was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be getting this again the next time we stop in to eat.
The fries were perfectly done and salted. No complaints at all with any of the food.

Excellent place to stop and have superb burgers/BBQ and dairy desserts! Fifty different milkshake options is totally worth it to stop here.
I had a grain-fed beef burger made exactly how I like it. My husband had the smoked meatloaf grilled cheese sandwich. He loved it. My 9 year old got feathers and fries (chicken tenders). She normally gets an adult meal but she wanted to save room for ice cream!
I can’t have dairy (and I was unprepared with no lactaid tablets) so my only unhappy comment was that when I asked about their non-dairy dessert she said they were all out. Bummer. But I didn’t mind because I tried a few sips of my husband’s Peanut Butter and Jelly milkshake which was phenomenal. My daughter built her own cup of ice cream and toppings.
Service was awesome. They didn’t have hot sauce for my daughter’s sundae so she gave us a little coupon to come back for a free ice cream. The inside is small but has fun memorabilia old drive up feel. We came on a cold day but there’s plenty of seating outside when the weather is nice.
Make a point to stop here!
