The thing I miss most about living in the south is the fried chicken! When I lived in Texas and visited sites in Oklahoma, chicken express was my go-to! Hadnto go back and it didn’t disappoint! The spicy tenders (crispy not saucy) were amazing, perfectly crispy and juicy inside! Fries and fried pickles were really good and the biscuit was fluffy and flavorful! Definitely check it out if in okc or Texas!

Edited from last visit. Decided to give them another go and it will not happen again. Against my better judgements the wife and I stopped on the way home and got 2 orders of 9 PC gizzards. When we got home there was a fly baked into the biscuit. Went back for refund and I littlerally had to force an apology from what I am assuming was the manager. Warning. Bugs in the food. Will be reporting to the DoH.
Original review: I have tried them a several times. A couple of times the food was very fresh and came out like it was made with care. The last 3 times I have been the French fries where the only thing worth eating. The chicken ed to be double fried and very tough. The biscuit you could have knocked somebody out with it,
which leads me to believe they been under the lamp for a while. Same with service. A couple of times, the staff has been pleasant and receptive to my questions and responded professionally. On more than one occasion there are a couple individual that has the personality of their double fried chicken dry and tough. It is this particular one and will frequent others. But from now on I will take the food back and request a refund if it turns out bad again. I hate to see a location go down hill.

Really good food. Everything I received was hot and fresh. This is the second time I have had this place and didn’t review the first time because I didn’t experience the service aspect, i had someone pick it up. The food was amazing both times. The service good. Friendly. Better than most fas food places. They were also very helpful. I would definitely visit again and recommend that if you’re not wanting to waste your money guessing if the fast food place is going to serve you fresh food, stop here. Both times was fresh

Are regular spot to come on wkends. Come tonight at 8:45 & are told they are closing at 9pm for the superbowl. Everytime we go in the game is on anyways. Why are they closing early & missing out on business? I really would like to know if upper management knows about this. They will come Monday. Really disappointed. We were looking forward to eating, visiting with our group & watching the game. They’ve missed out on more than just tonight’s business

We came tonight to give them another try only to walk in & be told that there lobby now closes at 9. I asked to speak to the manager. He told me there was a sign on the door. I assured him there wasn’t as did the other worker that first helped me. He had me walk with to the door to show me the sign..that wasn’t there. I told him I talked to corporate about it & they said they did not having new planned like that & insisted the lobby of their business was not going to be closing the inside at 9:00. He then said that they were a franchise & made their own rules apart from corporate. I informed him of the 10 other ppl who were on their way there, he didn’t care. He locked the door behind us. Save yourself a trip if you’re trying g to eat inside after 9pm

I ate at this Chicken Express last night. It’s probably my last time eating there. Service was bad (down right rude). Food tasted good, but the serving size was for someone about three years old. Atmosphere was ok & was decently clean.

Only place I can find in town that has chicken gizzards! Always hot and fresh! They always go above and beyond for my son as well. (Adding a extra tender to his kids meal.) It’s the little things tho. Only issue I’ve had there is the younger worker at the counter, it’s ok to be friendly and if you’re in a bad mood leave it outside.

In my opinion, its the best fast food chicken restaurant in the metro area. Tasty, crispy chicken, with ample amount. Catfish filets are also really good. Quick drive thru and indoor ordering.

what happened to C.E., I just purchased a two pcs and the wing was cold and better than the breast. It was cold and hard like it had set up for a day. The coke was nasty as hell. A total waste of 12.00. If i wasn’t so tired I would have taken it back but ended up throwing it in the trash

This is the cleanest chicken place I’ve been too. Oliver was very nice. The staff seems very happy. I ordered the number 1 with corn nuggets. It’s fresh as always.
