Absolutely delicious food! My husband and I got the guacamole, elotes, some tacos and a burrito. It was so so good! The service was fantastic, Michael was very accommodating and hospitable.

This place is a fairly small resto but on a Wednesday evening, most traffic was take-away. However, this place is clean, bright and nicely decorated compared to other taquerias in the city.
Ordered the queso fundido with chorizo as the protein. The cheese was super stretchy and the well seasoned chorizo made this a wonderful dish. Since it was so stretchy, used fork & knife to cut into manageable portions and used crispy tortilla chips for contrast in textures.
Also ordered the quesabirria with consomé which was very tasty but a bit messy. The taco itself though was not crispy like other quesabirria I usually buy, so this was a bit disappointing. But the flavors were all there, just wished it had that signature crunch that Im used to.
The staff was super-friendly and helpful when taking my order during this inaugural visit.

It has great authentic Mexican food. If we are in the area and are hungry, it’s definately our favorite place of choice. The service is great, the food is amazing and the prices…very reasonable.

Delicious food & excellent service! To start with we had the queso fundido with chorizo. It comes with a side of flour tortillas. It was so good. I had the taco dinner. My favorite was asada. My husband ordered quesabirrias, which he really loved. The kids had quesadillas. They were a bit too oily, but they were good. The horchata, chips & salsas are all good, as well! The best part of this Mexican family owned business is that they’re from Michoacán! Come and support them.

One of my favorite restaurants in the suburbs. I have been here about 4 times now and i am never been disappointed. The food that i have tried is delicious. On top of the good food, the staff is also very friendly and professional. The owner also came out during one of my visits to see how i enjoyed the food which rarely happens at other restaurants i have been to. You can tell that they genuinely care if their customers are having a good experience in their restaurant which is very rare.

It’s a restaurant that takes you back to México. Loved it!! The service is Excellent! The moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by everyone- even the owner. The food is delicious. Everyone is so welcoming, definitely recommend. Don’t let the line to order discourage you from waiting- it’s worth the wait!

My first time here. Customer service was top notch. The young lady who answered the phone answered all my questions politely and professionally. The birria was some of the best I’ve ever had. When we first came in, it was full. We were offered to sit at a bigger table for six, but it was only two of us. Thankfully, someone happened to leave when we arrived, so the staff immediately cleaned off the table (and dried it, which I appreciated because I hate wet tables) and moved us over per our request. We appreciate their responsiveness.
The chips and salsa were good. The salsa has a very faint kick to it, which was nice.
I got the taco dinner the following way:
1 Asada Taco with Cilantro
1 Chicken Taco with Lettuce
1 Al Pastor Taco with Cilantro
Hubby got the taco dinner all plain with:
1 Asada
1 Al Pastor
1 Chorizo
We were hungry and hoping to try variety, so we also got a torta de milanesa with no tomato. I loved that the torta was not swimming in a bunch of toppings. It was simple, but we appreciated the focus on the milanesa and avocado flavor. Think of a less is more situation. With a touch of green salsa, it made it perfect.
All in all, this place did not disappoint. The food came out hot, correct and delicious. These are some of the best tacos we’ve had. The steak was juicy, cooked perfectly. The al pastor was perfectly seasoned and not greasy. Chicken was flavorful and juicy. The service was amazing, and the staff were kind and efficient. We had everything we needed, and we didn’t even have to ask. Straws, napkins, salsa, utensils, etc. were ready for us before the food came. The owner even came to check in on every table at the restaurant, which I always appreciate.
The place itself was small, but it was cute. I liked the vibe, and we will be coming back soon since it is difficult to find good authentic Mexican food out south.

The mushroom al pastor tacos are by far the best taco I have ever had in my life. Vegan or not! My non vegan family comes here for these often. Chips and salsa is delicious. The employees are the sweetest. The owner is a gem and genuinely loves feeding people his food. This is my first and last stop every time i visit my hometown Chicago!

This Restaurant is all my ultimate favorite restaurant in Oak Lawn that me and my husband found 2yrs ago! And now he wants to come 1-2x a week! Not only from so many visits did we become regulars but the owner Sergio is by far the friendliest person! Shakes my husband hand and always makes sure everything is okay and let’s not talk about the staff because they are always in a good mood and they always make-my husband feel special by knowing his order . I also was told to try his desserts and it’s a must!
