A great find! We had the Salvatore’s special. The crust was perfectly crisp, the toppings fresh, and the portions generous. The location also has a great panoramic view of the corner. Great spot for fresh pizza if you’re in the area!

The guy up front was wonderful. My husband ordered a 14″ pizza, but got a 14″ slice, it was good. He also went back and ordered the Sicilian deep dish Salvatore, which was just a hunk of bread with sauce and meat. I ordered the grilled salad, * nothing to brag about) and Italian sausage with ricotta (that was very tasty).
Being from out of town it was just ok! I wished I remembered the guys name, y’all need to keep him. He made you feel great in this place!

10/10 Solomon took our order while using amazing customer service skills While Manuel Threw down in the kitchen. I was going to go with just the plain chicken Alfredo, but Mr. Solomon suggested the chicken pesto Alfredo. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. My husband loved his meat lovers pizza. We will definitely be dining in again!

So delighted to have Salvatore’s on UAB Southside! I stopped by to grab a slice of New York style pizza for lunch. The pizza was just okay as it was not hot / fresh and it looked like someone had taken the pepperoni off in order to make it a cheese pizza! ♀️ I should have checked my pizza before I left the restaurant! Other than the lackluster slice of pizza, the staff is great the atmosphere is warming and the food prices are great! So, if you haven’t stopped by yet, do so! Just be sure to ask for some fresh pizza!

The lasagna was very bland & nasty.. very thin tomato sauce -non tasting watered down funny aftertaste of metallic out the can taste very very very lil seasoning to non . it was more like crush canned tomato sauce w/ a drizzle of olive oil than anything.. lack that punch of garlic , onions , oregano, basil green peppers topped off with a big overload of mozzarella cheese baked on top to fool you that makes it looks good .. disappointing & disgusting.. waste of money .. wish I would of followed my 1st mind & got a $5 fully loaded fresh taco salad out from UAB food court instead . Don’t let this good look fool you ..

Let’s start by saying it’s next to the hospital so it’s super clean,ir has a amazing staff,it’s parking is not the easiest,it’s not the cheapest,BUT MAN IT’S GREAT. Ok if you’re looking for pizza and you’re downtown this is the place if you’re not downtown I recommend ordering ahead and someone stop and let you out go around the block and pick you up unless you get luck and find parking i did 2 blocks away still worth it or have that amazing pizza delivered now keep in mind the small pizza is a giant slice so when ordering ya might want to ask some information for the AMAZING staff they are very nice and will take a minute to get you on track so enjoy and ask for a fork you’re going to need it it’s loaded
