Phenomenal breakfast. The bloody Mary’s are on point. The food is definitely made with love. We’re excited to go back and try the dinner menu.

I made a reservation for a group of 14 on a Friday night during the holiday season. They took my name, number, and time with the reservation. I called the same day to see if I could add two more. No problem she said, all seemed fine. Our group started showing up just before our reservation and they tried to sit a couple of us with a group of 16 people already seated. Nope, not our group of 16. All the wait staff started telling us, “well it really is first come first serve and we tell you that when you make the reservation.” No one EVER told me anything of the sort. First come first serve is NOT a reservation. It was very apparent that they had made a mistake and seated another group of 16 at our table and were then trying to make a cover. They tried sitting us a several different tables. When my husband told the server we were leaving. We had reservations and expected to be seated together, she turned her back to him and walked away! Our group was left scrambling to find another place on a Friday night to sit down and eat together when we thought we had covered our bases with a RESERVATION!! Thank god for Ixtapa. We won’t be going back to the Nickel. Rude and ridiculous.

The service was stupendous! It was busy on Veterans Day. Holiday. She was friendly and efficient. She had to split the checks in our large party and was accurate and patient. Fish tacos are the best
Thank you to all of our veterans!!!!!
We are grateful for your service and glad you came home.

This restaurant and bar is a hidden gem. Just off a neighborhood in Silverton it’s a modest building, parking lot parking, inside is decorated with classic old saloon decor and iconic people from pop culture. The atmosphere is laid back with a moderate to loud noise level. This place has a full bar, full made from scratch menu, lottery and pool tables. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I had an excellent time and will be stopping in anytime I go by Silverton again. Wheelchair accessibility is okay. The bathroom entry is a bit narrow for accessibility of a wider wheelchair and the booths and high seating tables can pose some challenges for wheelchair users.

A little bit of slow service and had to find the waitress to check out. But they do offer the scan QR code to pay which is a nice option had it ever made it to the table to checkout. The food and bartender was absolutely amazing! Next time I’m in Silverwood I will be back!!

Don’t let the plain exterior fool you. The interior is nice and welcoming, as is the waitstaff. Our server was Rikki, she was pleasant and fun. She and I shared a good laugh over the receipt. See photo, “Sliverton.” We’ll stop in next time we’re out that way. Recommend the Reuben and prime rib dip sandwich.

Stopped here for a late morning Sunday breakfast. Ordered a farmers breakfast with dry scrambled eggs (aka not runny). Waited 45 minutes for our food, my eggs were grossly half cooked. Our waitress was more interested in visiting with her friends rather than helping customers seated in booths or tables. I won’t be go back here.

The third time is NOT always a charm!
Been here twice with the Hubs in the past several months and wanted to give it one more chance. We like to support local businesses.
Needless to say, we will not be back.
Even though we think of ourselves as locals because we live within eight miles of the restaurant, we are virtually unknown and therefore seemingly unwelcome.
Our service was terrible. The other server was busy and did attend to her tables very well!
Us…not so much.
Hubs had the T-bone steak special ($35). It had way too much chimchurri, and he couldn’t really taste the meat. Plus, it arrived a bit cool. His side of broccoli was cool, too. Should have been hot, but it was sitting in the window waiting for our server to pick up.
I ordered a grilled cheese with their “House Smoked Turkey.” It’s not actually on the menu (kids menu, maybe???) but I figure it’s bread, cheese and meat; it shouldn’t be too difficult or cost too much. Sandwich was not hot, too much butter. Fries not hot.
My grilled cheese and sliced Turkey sandwich was $19.
I could not believe the price.
When I asked our server after receiving the bill, she said I just pushed the button on the computer.
And that’s what rang up???? really, can’t you ask somebody, can’t you be of assistance to this customer and let me know that my sandwich would cost more than any other sandwich on the menu?
Forgot to take pics before eating. Pictures of my leftovers; ended up in the trash.
