A great local find on the way to VA Beach. Best and biggest piece of fried flounder (pic below) I’ve ever eaten. It was noticeably friendly with the owners greeting guests and locals by name. Also, very clean restaurant. Don’t go to KFC next door.

Food and Service is always good! Stop off this exit traveling back home. Plan was KFC but the line was too long so we decided to give Brian’s a try. That was 4 years ago and we have been coming back every since. Great end to our trips!

It was pretty busy, thus the service was a bit slow. That said, the service was friendly and attentive as I waited on the busy kitchen to prepare my food. The food itself was perfect and fresh. Get the big bang shrimp–do the larger order–you may still want more. The gobbler sandwich was also a win. Be aware that the pecan pie will come heated, a surprise, but not a bad thing.

My brother and I had lunch today here at Brian’s. We both had the chopped sirloin dinners and it was deliciously prepared as ordered, seasoned to perfection. The entire experience was great. The strawberry shortcake was so awesome . Our waitress was kind and very attentive as to any requests. We are frequent customers and again it was a wonderful experience.

Heather was our waitress and she gave us excellent service! Our glasses were always full and she was very sweet. I had prime rib which was excellent!!! All the food was great! I recommend this restaurant. We were travelling by as we are taking our soldiers to their duty station at fort Lee.

Was stopping for a quick bite off of I-85 from Maryland to NC. 7 people plus a baby. We were looking for something quick but saw the steak house and I am a steak lover! Was surprised to find they had 21 day dry aged steaks. Rest of the family ordered lunch and said it was good. NY Strip was done to perfection. Service was great! A nice casual place to eat. Food came very quickly for 7 orders. Excellent job for our needs!!

Pretty pricing for the offering and environment. Good flavor on the steaks, but WAY overpriced for what you got. Fried seafood sampler would not be ordered again. Broiled flounder was interesting, kind of a tough crust on top, a little too chewy for a fish crust. The seafood stuffing looked like mush in the middle of the fish, yuck, sure didn’t add anything to the dish. This wouldn’t be our first, or second, choice for dinner in the area.
