Updating review 2025: there have been improvements made with orders being more consistent but there are still issues with items missing in orders. There is also a current issue with the soda dispenser. I’ve had two recent experiences and both times the Baja blast tasted like medicine. Time for some soda training!
This location is in need of training. They are consistently bad at their orders. They consistently do not make the food correctly. See the pic of the saddest dipping taco. I’ve had some amazing versions of this taco and this is the Hampstead NC version. Go to Porters Neck!

Idk who the guy working the drive through window at 10:20pm on Oct 7th was but he was extremely nice. Hard to get a read on a person through a drive through, but he was very very nice and genuine.

I ordered a 7 layer burrito and added chunk chicken and asked for extra sour cream. The burrito came out anorexic looking, painfully skinny. Highly unusual for a burrito with 7 items plus chunk chicken and additional sour cream. I’m use to it usually barely able to close from the Taco Bell in my hometown of New Bern, NC. Only after eating it and then looking at the receipt, the order did not have the extra sour cream on it. Thank goodness I didn’t pay for it, but it was requested.
The second failing of this visit was the cinnamon twists. The picture gives them more credit than I could see with my eyes. They were very ‘plain’ and only 2-3 twists had ANY cinnamon on them. I ended up trying two and threw the rest away.
I was just very disappointed in my experience here. The staff was great, so it wasn’t an unpleasant experience, just a disappointment in the meal.

This is the worst tack bell in a five mile radius. They never make your order correctly. If you ask for extra something, you wont get it, they don’t cook their quesadillas through, we’ve had to up here multiple time to get simple tacos fixed. They don’t answer their phone when there’s a problem and it’s a total free for all inside the actually establishment with all the people on their phones in the back. Its a joke and they need some new management.

Always a great experience at this Taco Bell location! Even late at night, the food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff is friendly, helpful, and patient when giving us time to decide from the menu at the drive-thru. Be sure to try the new Crispy Chicken nuggets- they are AMAZING!!

Food tasted good except the liquid cheese sauce. I didn’t eat most of it. But everything else was good, and the staff were very nice. Their menu kiosk is overly complicated. A staff member helped me navigate that.
