What perfect timing for pizza on the Boardwalk. The day was warm and gorgeous, the beer cold and the pizza was crispy and delicious. Just for fun, we added an Italian Hot Dog with the works and a very generous order of fries.
This place gets crowded in the summer, but today there was no wait. Street parking was easy and free (until April). There’s bingo every Sunday. The hostess and waitress were friendly and attentive. It was super fun! We walked the boardwalk afterwards.
The restaurant is accessible, one can also order at the windows and take the food to nearby tables.

They have the absolute best bar pie anywhere around. Service is outstanding!! Great atmosphere. This is a hidden treasure at Seaside on the boardwalk. Dave portney even voted this the best pizza in Seaside on the boardwalk.

We were 6 adults and 3 kids and ordered 1 large pie with buffalo chicken and a side of calamari. The calamari wasn’t bad. Pizza was delicious. After a wait of about 15-20 minutes we got our pizza and they messed up our order. We had to wait for another 15-20 minutes to get the right one. The pie was fresh and it was sufficient for all of us

I now have a patio bar so you can sit outside and have a draft beer or a sun cruiser last week we were in the dining room because it was so hot outside in the air conditioner was awesome. Great service iconic pizza. It makes sense they’ve been on the boardwalk for 75 years.!

In the battle for the title of best NJ boardwalk pizza this one is a real strong contender for the top spot. Like is the ‘Pepsi Challenge’, bite for bite you might be tempted to choose other pizza joints. But eat a slice or three and you’ll see why Maruca’s is Coca-Cola of Boardwalk Pizza.

Always enjoyed their unique flavored pizza with the distinctive cheese pattern. Thought it was the best ,however a few years ago the flavor changed. I believe it was in the cheese mix and that flavor never returned. Such a shame, and the slices have gotten smaller, now over $ 6.00. I may stop in from time to time to see if there is an improvement otherwise I’ll be going to my new favorite spot

Have been going to Maruca’s for years. The pizza is always consistently delicious, a nice light sauce, thin crispy crust, and high quality cheese and toppings. Our favorite Pizza shop on the Jersey Shore for sure!
The service is always quick and friendly, even on a busy night in the summer. Restaurant is always clean. Can’t go wrong at Maruca’s!
