Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 – the menu was quite difficult to read with the different colors but we saw someone eating tacos so we decided to order “The Walking Tacos”. When discussing what meat we wanted on there we asked how many tacos there were and found out that it’s a bag of chips with toppings on it. Not what we were thinking of at all! But they said they do sell tacos for $2.75 per, it’s just not listed on the menu. So we got some carnitas tacos to go. The tortilla wasn’t toasted well and the meat not drained either so it was soaked in oil. The green sauce was delicious though!
Service: 4/5 – definitely struggled to communicate a bit but they were friendly overall.
Ambiance: n/a – ordered food to go. It’s a cute shop that sold some snacks as well with lots of decorations and music blasting. While there isn’t much reviews, there were a lot of foot traffic at 2:30 in the afternoon!
Value for price: 2/5 – didn’t care for the tacos but we probably ordered the wrong items since it wasn’t listed on the menu technically….

Came to Altus for Quartz OAI and wanted to find a restaurant and I saw the fruit cups in a photo and thought “that’s the place!!”.
It did not disappoint! The guy at the bar spoke English which I was FULLY prepared for him NOT to. I was also going to order the pupusas but he said they took those off the menu, (although I love me some Salvadoran and Honduran food any day of the week)….but i ordered a couple of asada tacos which were good. The green sauce had a little spice and was delicious. Fruit cup had the chamoy like layered not just on top and perfect amount of tajin (although I should have asked for extra lime instead of just a little wedge),
I NEED a mangonada is what I need , but I’ll have to make a second trip for that. Locals keep this place open!
