First visit to Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar — we came ready to sample a variety of menu items, and overall it was a solid experience. The atmosphere is charming and rustic, the restaurant was very clean, and the staff was welcoming. Our waitress was especially friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations throughout the meal.
Service was quick, and the biscuits with house-made jam were a great start. Highlights included the crispy, juicy fried chicken, flavorful grilled cheese, and well-fried fish. Some dishes missed the mark for us — fries and grits lacked seasoning, the tomato soup was a bit acidic, and the waffles weren’t a standout. The fried green tomato was okay fried crispy oitside but not all the way theough. Portions were generous, though some items came out staggered, which could be an issue for larger tables wanting to eat together.
Overall, the food was well prepared and the value felt fair for the quality. Nothing was bad, but nothing was especially memorable enough to make it a must-return spot. Nice atmosphere, attentive service, and good food — just not quite at the top of our list for a repeat visit.

The chicken & waffles/peach topping was fantastic! The fried okra were delicious. Shrimp & grits were great. The service from the waiter/Bartender needs some work, he didn’t take the time to explain any of the food choices, or maybe he just needed to stay as the Bartender. I will go back for this fantastic food again. Book your reservation ahead of time.

Spicy sweet chicken sandwich, fried green tomatoes and Brussels sprouts. I tasted the spicy but not the sweet. The tomatoes were excellent on creamy grits. The Brussels were good too. Wife had chicken salad sandwich that was also missing the sweet component and tomato soup. Atmosphere was quite noisy at lunch time. There are lunch offerings for $10.99 wich look appealing. We’ll dine here again to try some other dishes. Service was outstanding.

Was leaving an event and was hungry. I had been wanting to eat at this restaurant. Decided to go get my food to go. The fried chicken was amazing with roasted potatoes and side salad. The food was fresh and delicious. The hot chicken with ranch sandwich was a delight with french fries. The restaurant is gorgeous and the atmosphere is electric. The cashier was very professional and helpful.

Madison truly made our experience exceptional! From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. She anticipated our needs, knew the menu inside and out, and made excellent recommendations. Her positive energy and genuine care turned a great meal into an unforgettable experience. Customer service like Madison’s is rare—she’s a true asset and the reason we’ll be coming back
She even got me to buy one of their glasses.

Beautiful atmosphere, slightly upscale but not formal. We went during the Sunday breakfast crowd so the wait was long, but well worth it! The food was FANTASTIC! The original fried chicken is cooked to perfection…so crispy but tender/juicy chicken!! Not dried out at all. Sides are generous and so many great choices! Reasonably priced and big portions!!! The staff is courteous and friendly. Will definitely be returning again and again! Loved everything about this restaurant!!!

If you’re looking for a fun, adult, and social environment with great food and kind staff then head to this restaurant. Waiting time was typical for a popular place like this one, but the food was no miss it was hittin’! The salmon was well made and flavorful. I was impressed with how tasty the Brussel sprouts were! I’d definitely recommend this spot. Food was awesome!

The food was good. I had the chicken and waffles with a peach compote. It was delicious. The chicken was nicely cooked and wasn’t dry. The waffles were beautifully cooked a nice brown and the peach compote tied it all together. My friend had the shrimp and grits and loved it! My sister had the meatloaf with seasoned cubed potatoes and she also loved her dish. I ordered okra for an appetizer with ranch dressing and it was delicious. However, my sister and I both ordered the biscuits with blueberry jam. I didn’t like the biscuits very much. They were over cooked almost burt and hard. They were also salty. The blueberry jam was absolutely delicious. I just with the biscuits we’re better. I definitely would go back to eat there. Our waitress Ava was awesome.

Hands down the BEST shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. They give you a generous amount of shrimp compared to the grits, and the portion was so big I couldn’t even finish it. The ambiance is stunning the décor is beautiful, and the cute photo wall at the entrance is such a fun touch.
Savannah was an amazing hostess, checking on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. And their cups? Absolutely adorable, I had to buy one for myself!
I definitely recommend making an online reservation because the crowd comes in fast. This spot is officially on our Must Go list. 10 out of 10!

When we first arrived, we were greeted by two very friendly hosts. Once our party of 13 arrived Natalie got right to work with taking our orders. She was an amazing server. She was very attentive and efficient. The food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. We had fried green tomatoes, biscuits, and fried okra for our appetizers. Everything was really tasty and fresh. The peach and blueberry preserves with the biscuits were absolutely amazing. For my entrée, I had the breakfast platter, with waffles, bacon, eggs, and potatoes. It was delicious! My waffles were prepared perfectly. They were nice and fluffy. I especially loved the Peach Don’t Kill My Vibe cocktail! It’s so refreshing! All in all a great visit!
