Was in town for work for a few days and stopped here for dinner the first night. The food was so amazing I went back the next two days for dinner! Absolutely everything I ate here was delicious! It wasn’t very crowded, and despite having a brand new server that wasn’t very good, the service was pretty decent. Great selection of craft beers.

I came here on 4/24/21. Before I start, I will stay that I was very very hungry and probably hangry. With me doing keto, I have limited options eating out. I always have to look at menu ahead of time. Secondly, I don’t live local (in Charlotte) otherwise I would’ve just cooked at my house.
My first issue was parking. The nearest parking is at the epicenter. It’s $5 for the first 1/2 hr and then $4 for each additional 1/2 hour… That’s crazy. They have the preferred parking lots a couple blocks away too.
Then, when I finally park after being frustrated with lack of options, I get to the restaurant. They said it’s a 30 mins wait.. I will add that I had been trying to find somewhere to eat and then park for the past hour. That wait time didn’t help my hangerness.. luckily, it only ended up being 10 mins.
By the time the waitress comes, I’m just ready to order. I already knew what I want, which was wings (5) as an app, Steak Frites (no fries, Double broccoli) as my entree, and a diet soda. I order the wings and when I told her my entree, she says “I don’t think we have streak”… I swear I could’ve screamed. Why don’t you have a menu item… I mean, it’s steak. Not to mention, that and wings are THE ONLY items on the menu I have. Lack of grilled items and veggies is a huge problem! I think I saw a grilled chicken, but of course, it’s a sandwich and can’t have bread. Everything shouldn’t be breaded and fried!!! Additionally, she didn’t even say she’ll check to be sure or anything. “I think we don’t have streak” and “we don’t have steak” are different… Not to mention, she didn’t even
Needless to say, I had to get 10 wings. Might I add, the wings are overpriced. $17 for 10 wings.. That’s almost $2 a wing. But I got 5 dry rub and 5 garlic parm.
My friend got a mojito and wings too. Honestly, the saving grace for this visit was that the wings were amazing and ended me bout of hanger. Would I return? Ehhhhh. Unsure. We shall see.

Tucked away in a outdoor shopping center that isn’t as happening as it use to be. A nice vibe inside with an outdoor patio. Only one person working and she was busy. She was friendly and offered great service. A nice variety of beer. A decent food menu. Only a couple vegetarian options. Really wish they had veggie tacos.

Been here a couple of times before covid happened and the epic center was alive and the place to be.. I must say I didn’t expect this place to be ran downhill.. once me and my party got in was told to seat at a table due to a baby which isn’t a big deal.. once seated the server never came back for 30 minutes. So I grabbed the bartender.. was trying to get a quick bite to eat and a couple of drinks before going to Charlotte FC soccer game.. must say for a world of beer the beer selection was small (I know epic center is being auctioned and shutdown so I took it with a grain of salt.. I had to grab the bartender to get us started and order food and she said after this she couldn’t do it bc it’s the servers table . So the server saw is got taken care of and never bothered coming back.. the drinks took about 15 minutes yet she was basically by herself and it was pretty slow.. took 30 minutes for my loaded tots and side of french fries come out and they were cold.. not gonna go wait another 30 minutes to get more.. I went into the bathroom and there was vomit dried up on the urinal the bathrooms were disgusting.. there looked like dried vomit in sinks. Unsanitary and I felt even more disgusted.. definitely stay away. I feel like They probably have bad hygiene. Will never be back and I’d stay away if I were you.

Atmosphere was amazing! Really enjoyed the lighting. Ordered the sweetwater blue and artichoke dip. The pita bread with the spinach dip could be improved however the dip was delicious. Great area to sit and hang out/catch up with friends.

I passed through here for a conference and brought a healthy appetite after a 6 hour drive. Rain was on the horizon and my party of 10 just made it in around 7 pm before the heavy rains of a Monday.
Our waitress was nice enough to open up the larger back area for our party so that we could all sit together despite being short staff. Through the course of the evening the chef and two different waiters came out to greet us and made us feel at home.
I grabbed the Street Tacos: 1 crispy beer-brined chicken, 1 beef barbacoa, and 1 beer battered shrimp. The street tacos tilted towards the large side and the flavor delivered.
This venue has a rather large beer menu from all over the world and some cost up to 100 dollars for a bottle as they are rare or limited additions. As tempting as it was, I settled on a Maryland brew that was just what the doctor ordered. Everyone in my party was very satisfied with their meal and drinks. The only bump in the road we experience was a decrease in quality service during the end of our meal as our waitress never came back to check on us, forgot to bring items, and never returned with our checks. Someone else came and made things right but the visit was marred due to this fact hence the minus star. Nevertheless, I would definitely visit again and would seek this chain out in another state under similar circumstances.

This place is on the second floor of the Epicenter. Cool place. Waitress was super fun, she shook our hands as we were sitting down. So not your regular greeting. But she was very friendly. The drinks were really good. They have an area where you can play games or play darts. Very different. I enjoyed myself. They had patio seating, great spot to people watch. Highly recommended!!

I waited a few weeks to do this review so I wouldn’t type out of anger…. Imagine that youre a mom that rarely gets out the house and you live outside of Charlotte in a small town. You finally get to grab a few friends and learn how to ride the Lynx to downtown Charlotte. The lights and the sounds were very exciting. Didn’t know that there was so much going on downtown this night so you were happy that you didn’t have to find parking. After walking around the epic center for so long (an hour) you settle with World of Beer because they had the shortest wait time. It was 45 mins. During those 45 minutes, you wait outside at the site of over 10 dirty tables. 10! Tables that weren’t cleaned from previous guest. It was 9:00pm, and over 90 degrees this night and at this point you just wanted to get somewhere and cool off. 45 minutes pass and you finally get a call saying your table is ready. You and two of your friends are put at a table in a crowded corner. You notice a section in the back that has seating available. You ask the hostess if she could move you ( She says that “the manager doesn’t want anyone sitting back there”, and walks away). Fair enough. You wait on a waitress/waiter for 25 minutes. She finally comes and takes your order. Brianna (think that was her name with pretty purple hair) was very nice, but seemed overwhelmed as she seemed like she was one of very few waiters. Drinks came -it was now 10:15pm. By the time you got your Sangria, it was watered down, but you were so thirsty at this point, that you chugged it with no complaint. 10:45pm-appetizers come back. Your order is correct, but neither one of your friends order is correct. So they send it back to the kitchen. Another thirty minutes passes. Its now 11:15pm. Your chicken wings come out. They are huge. They were ungodly. You wonder what kind of steroids they were on. You can only eat a few. You don’t even ask for a box. At this point it is 11:45pm, and your friends still have no food. Not even the correct apps. They tell the waitress to forget about it, we were just gonna pay for your food and the drinks and leave. Another 30 minutes passes before we get the check. Finally at 12:15am, you are leaving. On the way home, you feel guilty because this was suppose to be a treat for one of your friend’s birthday. You stop by Mcdonalds and buy her cheeseburger. Hopefully that will make her feel better. Just imagine it.
WOB, you get 2 stars only because the nachos were great, the waitress did what she could, the soccer game brought a lot of business, but not opening up the whole restaurant and having people wait outside in the southern humidity because of human error is unprofessional in the restaurant business. Sadly, we will not be back. I hope I have a better experience at the epic center next time I am able to come out of the house! Pictures to follow …

We recently visited here prior to the championship game. We were happy to see the amount of TVs so we could watch college football. We were served quickly and was continued to be served any time we needed a drink. Taylor was our bartender and she did a great job. They have an awesome selection of beers, both local and not. We are prior or else I would have loved to try their food. We even decided to come back here after the game for another drink. It was a good time.

A new favorite! Friendly staff, fun atmosphere and excellent menu. They even have jumbo Jenga and Mario Cart video games couch.
The pretzel app was definitely shareable size. And the entrees we ordered we’re delicious. Our server was very knowledgeable about the beer selection and made some great recommendations.
We look forward to going again soon!
