Great first experience! This place has that comfortable small community feel, without feeling out of place. Servers were all very friendly, food was out fast and was delicious. There cod and house made coleslaw were exactly what I wanted and it didn’t disappoint. We got there at about 5:30 and thank goodness for that. Let me tell ya…. This place is popular! According to my wife, we will definitely be going again.

Will’s Grill is, without a doubt, the BEST “bar” food place, for being a tavern. It’s near Portage Lakes, & better than ANY place there! They run daily specials, some of which are not on the menu, & are awesome! Prices are decent – if you think they’re a tad high, that is because it is not a chain – just a one man place. BTW, some chain restaurants have raised their prices ridiculously high, whereas Will has only done small increases. The food is ALWAYS good, & ditto service. And very nice booths too. You won’t be disappointed!

I live nearby and for some reason never tried it? Was missing out. The new place to go. Crab cakes, shrimp, baked potato, and ranch dressing are all delicious and cannot wait to come back and try more. Drinks and service were also great.

The walleye is excellent, perch too. Nice big portions of fish. Cole slaw just the way I like it. Everything we tried has been delicious. And you leave here with a full belly of good food. It gets busy sometimes and you have a hard time getting a seat but the wait is worth it!!!!

Small local diner with amazing service and food. The portions were commensurate with the price. I ordered the walley, husband ordered the perch, and we shared. I received 2 large filets of the walleye and his plate was heaping with about 5 perch filets. We both agreed the perch was better, but both were good. They make their own coleslaw and it did not disappoint. Im very picky and was quite impressed. The portion of fries my husband received, however, was unnecessary. 3 people could have been fed with that portion. Thankfully, he did not eat them all. It was an easy in and out from the parking lot. Door in front and inside both entry level. No stairs. If I lived in the area, I would probably be a repeat customer

We stopped in for dinner. The place was clean and they had some nice Christmas decorations going on. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly. Our food was pretty good. I got the fish and chips. The fries are similar to fair fries. The fish was a bit dry but it wasn’t bad. I would definitely go here again but I would probably try something different.

Food is amazing. Fried mushrooms bomb. Flounder fish sandwich awesome. Erica at the bar waited on us. Amazing service. She was sweet and very knowledgeable about the menu. We will be back. I asked for Stella the got it in bottle. Draft would be better but I’m still very pleased. They have awesome weekly/ daily specials. Everything I’ve had here has been amazing. Always fast and friendly service.

Fun atmosphere and great food! My family all had delicious meals and the service was great. My daughter said it was the best grilled cheese she ever had and the hot rice was amazing. My husband loved his chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun and my Greek salad was tasty and massive!

We were looking for a place that had crab cakes and I came upon this place way down on the list with some pretty good reviews! I ordered the Lake Erie Perch and my husband got a cheeseburger as well as the crab cake appetizer!
The crab cake was different than any we have had. While it was good it wasn’t anything to write home about.
The perch and burger were excellent and the coleslaw was some of the best I have ever had!
We decided to sit outside because the inside did have a funky smell but other than that it was just what you would expect of a bar waitresses were very friendly! We will definitely be back and bringing friends!
