Good food, the burger is huge! They have TVs and had the game on. All the girls were lovely. This is a small diner, no fuss or thrills. The menu is very diverse considering.

This place is alright. They are very cheap with their breakfast burrito and expensive for the size and the food is not high rated very mediocre super dry and only gives you hot or mild vs any dinner out there. Definitely not coming back.

I was here the day prior on a work lunch and had the Ortega burger. It was delicious. I can back the next day and had the gyro. It was good and tasted fresh. Maybe a lil too much yogurt dressing but not that big a deal. Fries were the skinny kind and not overdone. Looks like they just remodeled and are still working on a few booths. Plenty of seating and quiet. I don’t recommend parking up front, but turning on the street next to it and parking on the side of the building.

Pros: People were very friendly. Good sized portions and wait was not too long. Prices are very reasonable.
Cons: Place is in need of a serious update, as the floors and booth seats had many rips.
My chicken-fried steak and eggs were pretty good, but my family said their burgers were dry. My daughter’s burger’s bun was hard on the bottom…we are hoping it was because of toasting however all evidence points to that not being the reason.
I would try this place again. There are a lot of items on the menu that sound pretty good. I will update this review afterward.

I usually go for lunch while I’m at work & haven’t really had a problem up until yesterday. I paid $3.69 each for extra chicken strips with my combo (so an extra almost $8 for the 2) I was supposed to get 6 chicken strips total. They only gave me 5 strips & they were burned. The fries tasted like they were already cooked & thrown back in the fryer. I wasn’t able to get back to the restaurant same day to exchange so I called the following day (still have all the food because I didn’t touch it) thinking because I’m in there almost every other day as long as I have the food still it shouldn’t be a problem, they know me. Boy was I wrong. They told me there’s nothing they could do that I needed to bring it back the same day. So I paid almost $20 for a chicken tender meal that I didn’t eat.
So, if you plan on picking up food to take with you, you might wanna check it before leaving & being out almost $20 like I was

I’ll have the 7 oz steak, baked potato. I got 6 oz of fat and gristle, 1 ounce of beef and a baked potato drenched in sour cream that I didn’t ask for being that I’m lactose intolerant. All I got was a sorry here’s your check. I don’t think I’ll be returning at her or suggesting Allstar.

Great place, my son said it best who would of thought you’d fine great tasting food in an abandoned city ((because he is use to the city we live in with so much population)). This place was a great stop after our visit to 29 Palms. We ordered a salad and club sandwich and an avocado sandwich as well we really stopped for a chicken dinner but we were a little too early, so while we ate 4pm came and we were able to order that to go …. everything was excellent a must stop for our next visit we stopped at another place but we’re extremely disappointed glad we found this spot.
