Very good experience. Good price for the quality and since it’s a buffet. The coffee was very good as well. Service took a minute to get to my table but afterwards I was checked on plenty.

The room and atmosphere are truly excellent. The food and service are OK. Everything is a buffet, with a good salad bar, hit or miss main course buffet (usually one dish is good) and a wonderful dessert buffet where you want to eat everything. They used to have world class coffee but now is it burnt roast. Reservations are a good idea; it was mostly empty when we were there but I’ve also been unable to get a table due to the crowd.

First off The Tudor Room is beautiful, but the food and service were disappointing. The French toast casserole was jiggly and not cooked enough. Everything was room temperature. Nothing was hot except the waffle I made. We never received beverage refills and only saw our server once. For the price of Brunch I was really disappointed. The lunch side of the bar had only 4 selections and they looked odd so I didn’t try any of them. The only thing that looked and tasted great were the desserts! I honestly wanted one of each. They were very small portions, but they tasted good. I forgot to mention there was a young man who played the piano. He came in and played only two songs then went to chat with the bartender. I hadn’t dined at the Tudor Room in over 12 years…I thought it would have improved…but it hasn’t and that’s truly sad.

To start off, the Tudor room has a great atmosphere where the interior design is unmatched by any place with a similar price range. The food menu changes daily and the weekly menus can be found online, so you can check and decide when you want to come in. The quality of the food is also good especially for a buffet, from starters to desserts.

We enjoyed the Sunday brunch in mid December. We made a reservation but it was not necessary as we were one of maybe 4 tables at 10:15am. After being seated it took 10-15 minutes to get our cream for our coffee. It would actually be more convenient to have cream at the water and coffee station that we could have gotten it for ourselves. Besides being seated and having our dirty plates cleared away, the servers were not needed.

The food was hot and delicious with a lot of variety. We were so full we didn’t enjoy the dessert table but it looked great!

Music would have been nice. Someone sat at the piano for a minute but that was it.

Overall, 4 stars. It is pricey so I wished the servers were more attentive.

Where do I start? I was invited to Thanksgiving dinner with a friend’s l family. They have been going since she was little with her grandmother and they have continued the tradition. I was excited to be with her family on this day. The room was beautiful it was easy getting to our table as we had a reservation for 12.

Food: terrible. The spinach artichoke dip tasted like wilted spinach was used. All the salad dressings were heavily vinegar based and watery. The dressing/stuffing was very dry. Even after a fresh pan was brought out it was still dry. The prime rib was simple, but good.
The menu also seemed like a hodge-podge. Like bacon and waffles, no “breakfast” eggs so not brunch, but also corn, green bean casserole, deviled eggs, but also a tofu bake, lox and bagels, salad bar, fruit and shrimp cocktail. Speaking of the salad bar, I don’t know what the broccoli was blanched in but it had a weird flavor. Odd thanksgiving menu.

Desserts: The Carmel Apple cheesecake had a soapy aftertaste, the mini chocolate pies were ok, the apple cobbler was basic as well. I tasted the pecan pie (my friend got it) and it too was very basic. I’ve had better pre-made food from Kroger. I ended up getting a malted waffle and syrup for dessert.

I’ve worked in a restaurant for several years. I understand food prep and how things have to be made for a broad group of people. This really was terrible. Again, my friend has been going here for Thanksgiving for years and she even said this was the worst it had been. Sad part is, on the way home we joked about how bad it was and at ~$70 a plate, totally not worth it.

The price of $60.00 per person for the Easter Sunday Brunch was excessive. The Sunday Brunch prices is in the normally in th range of $25.00. The foods has never been much more than average, but this kind of treatment will end my patronage.

Looking for bland overcooked meal? U found the spot!
The food offered is uneventful, Midwest meets British cuisine. I only go there when it’s prearrange by other ppl, would never choose on my own.
That said, the quality of the food is not bad. Veggies they use are fresh, the meat is not bad either.
The atmosphere is very fancy yet relaxing. Not a bad spot to get away to from the stress. The service is very good in general too.
Not a bad place overall 3/5.

Went for Easter brunch and the service was really rough. Our first server I had to track down. Didn’t get coffee or waters for 10 min. Sorry but waters should be first and ready for servers to grab and drop on tables. Server stated he ‘got lost’. Mimosa tasted like it was made with the lowest quality champagne. The salmon on the bagels were inedible. The other food and deserts were standard and quite good. We started getting served by a second server who picked up the pace but at that point we were essentially done with our meal. For 50 bucks a person and buffet style, I expect better beverage service.

The Mothers’ Day brunch at the Tudor Room was extremely disappointing. All food items were near room temperature and quality was below average. Instead of three serving lines, as the Tudor Room did in 2019 (the last Mothers’ Day brunch before the pandemic), there was only one line, which caused a long wait. The server did not even bring water until we were half way through our meal. It took another 10 minutes to get a coffee, and a coffee refill took 15 minutes. There was not even a spoon provided with the setup. I used my fork to stir my coffee. The server did not seem to understand his duties. The cashier, who identified herself as the “manager”, did not seem to understand how to operate the register.

This year the price per person was $55, which was almost 50 % more than 2019 for the same brunch. For $55 it is reasonable to expect satisfactory service, which was not provided.
