After a disastrous detour at Pizza Tivoli down the street, my wife and I ditched the drama and opted for something a bit more comforting–Thai food in the heart of Paris. Our group split up, and we rolled the dice with Thai Thai. Fortunately, this gamble paid off.

To our surprise–and delight–the chicken Pad Thai was exceptional. Rich, savory, perfectly balanced in flavor, and honestly, some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Add to that a reasonable price point, and things were looking up.

So why not five stars?

Well, timing is everything. My plate arrived a full 10 minutes before my wife’s, despite us ordering the exact same dish. Not the end of the world, but definitely odd.

Then, the mint incident. At the end of our meal, the server brought two tiny complimentary mints. We have three kids, so I casually took an extra from the dish. Harmless, I thought–but the server clearly didn’t agree. A disapproving comment and a subtle shake of the head later, and suddenly I was a mint thief in their eyes.

Small things, sure–but enough to knock it down a notch. That said, I’d go back for the Pad Thai alone–next time I’ll just BYOM (Bring Your Own Mints).

I am Thai living in Paris, this is one ofvthe best Thai restaurant i could find in the center of Paris (as it’s not far from Galerie Lafayette) usually good Thai restaurants are located in the 13th (asian area). I ordered menu Sawasdee, which includes entree, main dish and dessert. Of course i took chicken satay as entree, papaya salad with fried chicken (served with sticky rice) as main dishes and fruit salad as dessert. The meal was tasty and amazing in a good portion. It’s worth the price because it was 25.5€ and i love it. The staff are nice and kind. Really recommend it to anybody who wants to try Thai food, this could bring you yo a good experience.

A lovely little restaurant located nearby the Paris Marriott Opera Ambassador Hotel. There is seating both inside and out. The front of house appears to be run by an older French/Thai couple who were quite welcoming. They have menus in English which is also useful. My partner and I had the 3 course lunch set menu which cost just under 19 Euro each and provided plenty for us to eat. The food came quite quickly and was both beautifully presented and both hot and tasty.

Great food. We ordered the lunch set which was really delicious and good value. But if you want more original Thai taste, you may need to let them know.

The owner was so friendly and welcoming. Love that the restaurant have the Thai touches decor, and they even play thai song. The dishes were great in the balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy. They also offer diversity on the menu, including popular thai dishes such as pad Thai, green curry, pandan chicken, and other specialities. The location is located in a convenient area, close by the Galeris Lafayette and near to Paris Mariott Opera Ambassador Hotel. It’s absolutely worth checking out this restaurant

I love the location of the resto, right near Auber and Galeries La Fayette
The food was authentic and the owners were Asian origin. They served food all at once. The experience was pretty good. Food was really spicy for me (the papaya salad though we ask for just a bit too spicy)
The place is tourist-friendly as they speak French and English.
