I enjoyed the ambiance they created, the food was just ok. The kerala beef puff was flaky and brisket you can cut with a fork. I felt it was missing something though, maybe some acid in the creme sauce or a onion chutney. Mesa chicken curry was pleasant, basmatic rice was cooked perfectly and the heat in curry was what i was looking for, curry itself was forgettable which was disappointing, Overall not a memorable experience here. Bar seating from my observation will give you the best experience. Wish Mesa the best

If I could give Mesa more than five stars, I absolutely would. It’s probably my favorite restaurant in Jacksonville. The staff, food, service, quality, and even the price point are truly out of this world. The very first time we came, the owner made it a point to introduce herself, share a little history about the origins of the cuisine, and explain their commitment to quality ingredients. That level of care and intention says everything about this place. And the food? Unreal. Seriously, do yourself a favor and order anything off the menu you can’t go wrong. Everything is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Mesa is the perfect date night spot or the place you take someone when you really want to impress them. The atmosphere feels special without being stuffy. The staff is incredibly attentive always asking about allergies or dietary needs and confidently answering any questions about the menu. You can tell they’re knowledgeable and genuinely care. There’s clearly a healthy, positive work environment behind the scenes, and it absolutely translates into the service you receive. One moment that really stood out to us the first time we came was, a guest experienced a medical emergency. Every single staff member acted immediately, professionally, and compassionately. Someone even ran to the fire station next door for help. It spoke volumes about the kind of people they are truly good people through and through. We got to celebrate our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple here and Kahlil was our server that night, and he was absolutely perfect! attentive, kind, and made the evening feel even more special. Mesa will always have a special place in our hearts. If you’re in Jacksonville and haven’t been yet, you’re missing out.

My wife and I went for our first time last night. Very impressed. Service was top notch, food was excellent. Met the owner and she was very welcoming and hospitable. Wings were unique and delicious. My wife had the lamb chops which were insanely good and I had the chicken curry that was full of flavor. Tried the Dubai cheesecake as a dessert and was a perfect sweet finish to the night. Music, service and food were fantastic. One of the best places we’ve eaten at in Jacksonville.

First time here and we were very impressed with the flavorful dishes! The Kerala shrimp and grits were tasty and the fish in the meen pollichathu was sooo tender. Service was excellent and the patio was comfortable and had great atmosphere.

If I was local to Jacksonville, I would be here almost every night! This place was absolutely amazing. I came with 4 other people, so we shared a lot of the food, and I loved every appetizer, entree, drink, and dessert I tried. I will definitely be back here when I am in town next!

visited over the weekend for a friend’s birthday dinner and the experience was lovely! the owner even came over and introduced herself and told us all about the menu. she walked us through any questions we may have had! she was a delight! very sweet and just super nice.
