Wife and I went to Urbano at Mosaic casually. The server was extremely kind and helpful to determine the menu and drinks. I wasn’t trying to drink strong alcohol then she offered to customize the cocktail which was perfect the food was served in heated stone bowl which kept the foods warm until we finished. The grilled steak, shrimp, and chicken was so tasty. Last thing I wanna specially thank the server, Tatiana Guevara because we accidentally dropped the key chain and went home, when we came back to look for the key chain, she was holding it safely for us. That made me and my wife so happy and thankful. Definitely recommend to visit there for good foods and vibe.

Delicious Tex-Mex restaurant
We enjoyed the birria tacos, pozole and enchiladas. The server was so quick to bring our drinks and take our order. Great service and delicious food.

Great find in a very overloaded, Mosaic restaurant and retail district. A comment about the service, all of the Mosaic restaurants, and my sample size is about seven, have got the table moving protocols locked down. They will see you, serve you and get you out the door in an almost immediate fashion. I’m sure that is wonderful in June when the area is packed and the weather is nice and everyone is out but on a rainy January when the restaurant is only a third full, it’s not necessary to push people and it was a little bit disconcerting. For example, and this just wasn’t Urbano, we ordered several dishes, including appetizers and drinks, and everything came at once. There was no opportunity to enjoy the appetizer and then have an entrée delivered hot and fresh.
The ambience was a little bit loud, mostly due to the design of the room and the way tables are laid out. Not terrible but not five star.
And now the best part, the octopus ceviche, chips and salsa and black bean dip, as well as our smoked cocktail were all legit and brought us back a second time during our visit in the Mosaic.
In the summary, if you are all about the food and getting it fast, this is your place. If I ever find myself back in that district, Urbano will be visited again.

My friend and I always look forward to eating here whenever we visit the Fairfax area ! The crust chicken and rice is our go-to meal and the drinks never disappoint! It’s always a vibe when it’s night time and the crowd dies down, the workers are very attentive and sweet☺️

A friend and I went here for dinner around 8:00 on a weeknight. The place was pretty empty and we got seated right away, definitely didn’t need a reservation at that time. Service was good, we were given complimentary chips and salsa right away when we sat down. Our server was friendly and attentive for the most part. All the food and drinks were phenomenal!! The highlight for me was definitely the octopus ceviche— so bright, fresh and flavorful! The octopus had a good texture, not too rubbery like it can be sometimes. Drinks were good as well, with lots of varieties and flavor options for the margaritas and mojitos. I had a pineapple mojito which was really good, I would definitely order it again. The entrees were all good, no complaints there, but the ceviche was definitely the star. My only other complaint was that we were sat directly next to a very loud group despite the restaurant being essentially empty at the time, which felt a little disruptive although not entirely the fault of the restaurant or waitstaff. Overall, we had a good experience. Entrees were maybe a little pricey for the portion sizes, but I would probably come back if I was in the neighborhood again, if only for drinks and appetizers.

Bar, indoor and outdoor seating. Happy hour menu for bar area only. Sat outside and it was very comfortable. Staff were all amazing. Food and drinks were so good and fairly priced. Love the food here. The Mexican Pizza is a must-get appetizer. So is the steak quesadilla. They are very generous with the steak. It’s very tender and flavorful. The appetizers are very filling so we ended up getting full without even ordering the main! It was an incredible dinner in a very nice location.
The server wasn’t great. She never checked in on us to see if we actually wanted to order a main dish…

We always come here when we’re visiting the area! The food is great, the drinks are great, and so is the service! The Al Pastor tacos are my favorite on the menu and our server, Hugo, was very helpful and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great experience at this Tex-Mex restaurant! The food and service were both solid. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outside, and we really appreciated being able to sit outside with our dog, definitely a plus for pet owners.
I had a salad that was fresh and flavorful—light but satisfying. My wife went with the carnitas tacos and loved them; tender, well-seasoned pork and great toppings. Our daughter stuck with the classic chicken fingers with fruit, not exactly Tex-Mex, but she ate all.
Overall, a relaxed atmosphere, good food, and great service. We’ll definitely be back!

Urbano is a great location for happy hour with friends! They’ve got good food and drink options. I was pleasantly surprised with the size and quality of the quesadillas! It’s not often a restaurant fills them to brim and toasts them to a great crispiness. Definitely recommend!
