Tried Zzaam Fresh Korean Grill with Kokee Tea. Solid meal.
Got the bulgogi bento with rice, kimchi, and sides. Everything tasted fresh, good flavor, and the portions were more than enough without feeling heavy. Paired it with a Kokee tea and it worked well.
Good option if you want something filling that isn’t greasy. I’d go back.

The food was great! We ate the kalbi, chicken katsu, and spicy pork bowl. The portions are worth its price. We have a very vocal baby and but the staff was friendly. The older gentleman was so nice to our baby and made us feel welcomed. Will be returning again!

I got Thai milk tea and teeoboki, I’ve had their street style ramen too but honestly their drinks are so much better than food. The food always looks yummy but seems to be bland or overcooked. But regardless for a refreshing drink I’d definitely recommend

This is such a beautiful restaurant with a calm and clean atmosphere. The food is amazing and authentic, the Korean corn dog is a MUST! And I love the service, they will walk you through everything and answer all your questions especially if you are new to Korean foods. I don’t usually like ramen but their street style ramen is so fulfilling and healing, perfect for when you are feeling low and need something to just feel better. And of course I can’t forget the boba teas! Overall 10/10 would recommend.

Food is pretty average overall. The ramen and soups are horrendous. However, most of the other menu options taste average. Customer service is average. Self service is the primary way of ordering and a lot of the pictures on the self service are non existent. On the bright side, they have good ambient music

There was a roach in my ramen with beef!! When I called she laughed and said she found it hard to believe I did receive my refund but not before making the comment that SHE had done an inspection days prior and there were no roaches but clearly it’s here!!

Customer service great, ambiance wonderful..food horrible. Ordered the spicy chicken bowl and the meat was the absolute worst. I’m certain the chicken was boiled. Chicken breast meat was dry, practically breaking apart and tasteless.–wow! Absolutely no care taken to prepare. I will stick to driving to Richmond for a Korean bowl. KOGI does it best.

Before moving out of state for a couple years I used to dine here regularly, Their food was great for the price 5 years ago. But the Chicken Katsu for example has doubled in price in just 5 years. ($10.95 to $20.95)They’re priced like a proper sit down restaurant with wait staff and alcohol but it’s just a quirky themed korean fast food place. Yall can keep it, I wont be coming back again.

Not sure why this place is rated 4 stars. I recently dined here for lunch at was severely disappointed with my meal. I ordered the chicken teriyaki (chef’s special) and was not pleased. Food looks better than it tastes. The chicken was very overcooked. Additionally, it seemed as if it was reheated and not fresh as the restaurant claims. Moreover, there was not the slightest hint of teriyaki flavor. The chicken nor the sauce tasted like it was anywhere in the realm of “teriyaki”. The rice was mediocre at best. I also opted for the Korean style “spicy” chicken wings. Much like the “teriyaki” chicken, the wings seemed to be old and refried, instead of served fresh. If not for the sauce, the wings would have been a complete bust. However, they were drenched in sauce to the point that it seemed like a ordered sauce with a side of wings. While the sauce had a sweet and pleasant taste, it was over used to help hide the old chicken taste and was not spicy (as ordered) at all. Overall, the food is subpar. I will not return to this establishment and I do not recommend others try the food. Recommend others spend hard earned money elsewhere.
Additionally, the atmosphere is…unique. Every wall appears to have a different theme, the music is that of what you would hear at an asian spa, and the lights inside are a mixture of randomly placed bright white and soft yellow. For whatever reason, they keep potting mix in the restroom (see picture).
