Well upon arrival there was no hostess i had to go looking for her. When she did get there she had pretty shitty attitude. First impressions of the restaurant we visited for the first time on a special day was a 2 when greeted. Now the walleye was on the smaller size and not as good as Sylvesters. The 12oz strip steak was cooked perfectly and the side’s we delicious. They did not have any kind of steak sauce for a backup when needed. Even though the food was pretty decent, the entire situation was not as good as I hoped. There were little things that made the evening just so,so.
I dont know if I will be returning to 91 in Lake Cable. Hopefully the 91 in Washington Square will have a better vibe and service.

Pizza’s were very good! I got the French onion pizza with 1/3 of the onions, extra crispy crust. Strongly recommend. Great staff as well.

We heard this was a good place for dinner from friends. Tried it and all I can say is that’s was ok.
Service was great. The Maple Bacon Old Fashioned was really good. Got the Perfect Manhattan and it was way overpriced at $17. Angels Envy isn’t a good pick for a Manhattan.
I ordered the Greek Salad with blackened chicken. The salad was a complete joke. My wife got a $5 side salad and it was bigger than the Greek. There were three half olives and two yellow ring peppers, tiny amount of feta and very little lettuce. Not a Greek salad by any definition.
My wife’s Drunken Gnocchi was average. Just not anything that stood out.
I would recommend a review of the entree salads on the menu and compare them to what the competition is doing.

Great place! The hotel we’re staying at recommended this place and we’re glad we listened. The food was really good. The service was exceptional! We spent a great evening there and wish it was in our area so we could come back again and again!
Everything on the menu is made in house except for some of the deserts. Even the balsamic reductions. They offer gouda cheese as an option in their Risotto and it works better than Parmesan!
I could go on, but you get the idea.

Made reservations at 6:00pm for my fiancé‘s birthday. We arrived on time, but it was pretty busy so we had to wait. We waited about 10 minutes as we watched other people walk in and get seated before us. Our server was excellent, but the wait time on our food was absolutely beyond unacceptable. Once we were seated around 6:10pm , we got a drink and ordered an appetizer and our entrées with a salad. At around 6:40pm our appetizer arrived and around 6:50pm our salads came, it was good. As we waited till 7:45pm, we were watching family’s being seated, having full dinners and leaving and we still hadn’t gotten our food. We finally asked to get the order to go because we had other reserved plans for her birthday at 8:00pm. They took the salads ($14) off our check making it out to be $93.
Plz Note: The food was good but that was just my personal experience and it may not always be like this but as a first impression for me. I was very unsatisfied.

Had a lovely time here for a celebration dinner with friends and we enjoyed ourselves. Great service and food. We started the evening off with drinks and some appetizers- the celebration crab dip was my favorite of all apps that we ordered followed by the buffalo shrimp. If you love pork chops, then get the pork chop! Theirs are probably hands down the best I’ve had in town. My meal was served lukewarm but I could still taste the flavor and the sauce they served over it OMG that was delicious and the accompanying side dishes are worth noting, the corn and mashed potatoes paired perfectly with the dish and both were full of flavor. A few in my party had to send the dishes back. I did try a bite of the steak that one of my friends had and for market prices they need better cuts and better seasoning. It was not good at all. Even the replacement steak wasn’t good they said. The pizza on the hand was getting rave reviews from a few of my guests, so I’d be willing to try that when I return in the future.

Love this local restaurant one of my favorite places. The vibe here is romantic, private, ambiance the perfect dining experience. My favorite item is get is appetizer the chips half and half it so simple but so delicious. I’ve tried about everything we come a couple times a month. I dont really have a favorite dish yet. The drinks are a generous pour and strong. No complaints here. This is the gem of a place and if you haven’t been your missing out. Every time I come im in a better mood leaving and the waitress are always working hard to make you happy. Thus is a number 1 spot.

My parents and I dined here on New Years Eve, and unfortunately, things were pretty below par.
I was first introduced to 91 back in the Summer of 2014, and it was a phenomenal restaurant. Dishes were rich in flavor, and well-presented. Overnight, it became a favorite dining spot of mine and my parents. We went here for years.
The last time I ate here was during the Fall of 2022, and I have to say, I could tell the food was starting to go downhill. Tonight was probably the last time we’ll ever go here, unless we get gift cards. For starters, the restaurant was completely overbooked. Having worked in the restaurant business for over 3 years, you have to be mindful of how many parties you take on during special occasions, otherwise the food/service will suffer, and the waiting lobby will be packed.
Now to be fair, the appetizers were great. The 91 chips haven’t lost their touch, and the mushroom risotto was delicious. Beautifully seasoned, mushrooms had the best texture you could get. We then waited close to 45 minutes for our entrees after ordering. Sadly, it wasn’t worth the wait. My dad’s burger was dry, and the Tuscany chicken risotto was a massive step-down from the mushroom one: bland risotto, somewhat tough chicken (though well-favored), and an unseasoned sliced tomato on top. Presentation-wise, it kinda looked like something I’d make it college when I first learned how to cook. Risotto is usually served in a bowl with the protein sliced on top, and if there’s something like a tomato, it’s at least seasoned. Despite being overbooked, I don’t think that’s the sole reason why things weren’t great.
Again, none of this would be an issue if this were a “grab and go” American-Italian eatery. But because it’s a $24 entree, there’s an expectation. If someone were to order a dish like this from L’Albatros in Cleveland, the adjacent Little Italy district, or even here on the other side of town at Gervasi, it would probably get sent back. At least my mom’s pasta dish was good.
This also begs an important question – why isn’t the mushroom risotto an entree dish? It’s by far and away the better of the two!
Kinda disappointing to see how this place compares now to 8-10 years ago. I hope the owners are able to revive the restaurant and re-conceptualize dishes.

Atmosphere and service was fantastic! The downside is overpriced and very average. 42$ dry steak, and baby portions -I really wanted to love it but I couldn’t. Only reason I took to reviewing it is that it’s my 3rd time eating here and all 3 times have been subpar.

I’ve lived less than 5 minutes from this restaurant for 2 years, and it took a recommendation from someone from Florida for me to see the light. This gorgeous classic styled Italian and steakhouse has some of the best food I’ve had in Canton. The service was superb, and our waiter, Carmen, deserves a specific shout out too for his wonderful service. We ordered the everything pretzel bites which were delicious. The “Best strip in canton” steak was definitely spot on advertising as every mouth watering bite was better than the last with the Yukon mashed potatoes being terrific as well. My wife had the drunken shrimp and a miracle happened…my wife cleaned her plate stating the food was incredible and low calorie. The dessert was beyond amazing. The pumpkin cake with vanilla ice cream was not only underpriced but something I must try to recreate on my own. By far one of the beat restaurants in Canton and I regret not coming here sooner. We will be back again and again.
