Vans is ok. The staff was nice, service was quick. No wait in line. Their prices are ridiculous. 2 scoops of custard in a dish was $6. What they gave me didn’t look like 2 scoops. It looked like one scoop in a dish.
This place is way to expensive for the lack of portions they dole out. Back to Culver’s I’ll go.

We waited 20 minutes in the drive-through window after placing and paying for our order, only to have them open the window and ask us to repeat our order. A strawberry shake and scoop of sorbet! We were told there were only four people working and it was really busy as we drove by to look at the empty restaurant, but line at the register. I so want you to be successful at the new location… But it’s not working for us!

I brought my daughter and her friends to come have dinner and celebrate her 10th Birthday, the orders all came out correctly and the food was great. Then the staff brought out my daughter and huge sundae and proceeded to sing happy birthday to her. I can’t thank you all enough for the wonderful hospitality!

Something seems off with the custard since they moved. It doesn’t taste the same…the brownie topping tasted bland and musty, the custard seems somehow like cheaper ingredients, added fillers maybe, not as good as it used to be. I also ordered hot fudge but there was none in there. The fresh strawberries were good though. Did you guys get a cheaper supplier? Something seems off. I really hope Vans can keep the same classic quality it has always had and not cut corners. Quality has always been your edge over places like Culver’s or DQ, don’t quit now.

Trish took our order, brought our food, and checked in on us after we ate. We picked a slower afternoon for this busy long time local favorite of ours. I had a burger and my wife had the veggie grilled cheese. These sandwiches were both excellently prepared and delicious. The bag of special fries was huge and equally delicious. You need to give Van’s a try if you’re in the area. They really work hard in this store to prepare everything fresh for you. You can taste it in every bite.

I miss the old Van’s The food quality & service has PLUMMETED since they moved. The fries were so soggy/greasy that oil was dripping from the bag and the chicken tenders were TINY. The ice cream is still good, but unfortunately the price increases and smaller serving sizes don’t make it a saving grace. I also wasn’t too happy with the person who opened the drive thru window and said have a good night without handing me any of my food Staff definitely needs more training…

New location, same great experience. So glad to be able to try Van’s in its new location! I totally get people missing the old location and its charm, but lots of memories can be made at the new location, too, and the drive thru and parking are pretty great perks. Such kind staff as always, friendly and polite. See you again soon, Van’s!
