A few days ago, I stopped at a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Commerce GA. I had a spectacular time there. The Cashier / Server was very courteous and professional; most importantly, the food was very hot and fresh. I enjoyed my time there.

I have had bad experiences with Popeyes in other locations but, as far as I’m concerned, this experience has redeemed the brand. We were greeted warmly and our order was taken with a smile and gentle, helpful information about the menu. Zakari took our order and was very helpful throughout our entire visit. In a world where warmth and manners are in steep decline Zakari was a breath of fresh air. I would return to this restaurant based on his manners and demeanor alone. He is a real credit to the organization. Our food was prepared fresh and was tasty and generously portioned. The seating was comfortable and easily accommodated our large family. It was a great experience and I can’t say enough about the hospitality we were shown.

Don’t eat here. They have no concept of “fast.” Had me pull forward with nobody behind me while they cook shrimp. Said 3 minutes. 10 minutes later I just left. My fault for going there. Don’t make the same mistake. They got free money from me but lost my business in the future so glad they got a good deal out of it.

I placed an online order to be ready asap, that was my option. I sent my daughter to pick it up just 5 minutes after ordering and they told her to pull up and park in a pickup spot that they were waiting for chicken to cook. That is understandable. 15 minutes goes by since ordering and she goes inside the store to ask about the order and she stated everyone in there was on their phones and told her that they were still waiting for the chicken to cook. She proceeded to have to wait another 5 minutes before finally getting our entire meal. This is absolutely absurd! I tried to call to speak to a manager and I get sent to a voicemail. A VOICEMAIL AT A RESTAURANT?! Tell me how that makes sense. It sounds to me like no one wants to work that is actually there.

Popeyes chicken sandwich is the best in the fast food industry. Even better than CFA. Chicken is flavorful and juicy and the brioche bun is scrumptious. I also appreciated that the line here was short and the service was fast and friendly.
