We’ve been eating at the Goose for decades. The burger patties were always hand made and outstanding. No longer. They’re premade frozen now, over cooked and tough. It’s gone from a favorite to average at best. Our server knew. We knew. We’ve brough lots of friends and visitors to the Goose. No more. We’ll be back if the kitchen is fixed. Until then our burgers will be from the Airport Tavern.

Good was great! We had a delicious pastrami burger, sweet potato fries, medium wings, chips and salsa, pulled pork sandwich, and fries mushrooms. Everything was very tasty.

Brandy and Andrea killed it. Full bar inside and a bike club outside, and between the two of them, they did a great job. They could have used some help, but I’m pretty surprised that there are even 2 highly competent bartenders in a town this small. I would have loved to speak to a manager or one of the owners to let them know how the ladies did. The Dagwood was really good, glad we stopped in.

Brooke was our bartender/server. She had a great attitude and personality. She was quick to greet us and take our drink order as well as bringing menus to us. Brought our drinks quickly and took our food orders.

Our first visit to Gallopin Goose. Went there after reading good reviews. After seating ourselves we were brought menu’s pretty quickly. After a few minutes our food & drink orders were taken. Me a Bud Light draft & her a vodka & Sprite. Beer seemed a bit warm & flat but I was thirsty. Her drink had so much vodka you couldn’t taste the Sprite. Between the two of us we couldn’t finish it. Food arrived quickly & hot. Me the green chili swiss burger with onion rings & her chicken bites with a basket of seasoned fries. The top bun on my burger was a bit soggy but other than that everything was great! High marks for the food. Service is another story. After bringing our food we never saw our server again. We could have walked out & no one would have known. Went up to the bar to get our check. Bartender asked where we were sitting. I pointed at our booth & returned to it. She printed our check & just left it on the bar. Never let us know it was ready. If we are in the area again we will give them a try. The food was really good.
