To start, and probably the only good thing about the evening, was our host, who greeted us right away and gave us our drinks super fast. However, when I asked what the soup of the day was – clam chowder – I told him I’d take a cup, but he nor the waitress brought it to me. Im thanking my lucky stars they forgot though.
Next, our waitress came by and took our order. I ordered the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, my son ordered the chicken wings and mozzarella sticks and my husband ordered a sausage Italian dish (I forget the proper name, but it won’t matter in a minute). Our waitress then gave us bread which was OK…in fact, was my saving grace cause that’s all we could eat….because once we finally got our food, I immediately thought “this must be a joke”…but unfortunately it wasn’t.
Im providing pictures because my words will NOT do this place justice. My shrimp fettuccine Alfredo came with boiled noodles, non seasoned shrimp with what I imagine was a jar of Alfredo dumped on top. I moved the noodles around in hopes maybe I could salvage it, but it looked like just an upset stomach waiting to happen. Such little care, that I inquired with my husband..maybe the real chef left earlier and someone else was forced to just throw something together. My sons food was overly cooked, so dry and without taste…and he is 10…he will eat anything.
And lastly, my husband’s food was so inedible that his stomach started to cramp halfway home from the measly little few bites he attempted to consume. He said half the sausage pieces were rock hard and what we believe to be freezer burn…so who knows how long they had those sausages in the fridge/freezer.
The food was just so bad, sight, taste and price. We left hungry but also feeling slightly sick from just how little care this place took for service.
And if all that doesn’t make you concerned, and this is of no fault really of the restaurant, another patron who was dining right next to us, stood up with barely his pants on to cover himself, so not only were we pretty sure we were on a prank show for the horrible food, but it had to have been a joke that someone could be “mooning” everyone in the restaurant too!
If I could give – stars, I would. That’s how horrible this place was. Do yourself a BIG favor, go anywhere else.
Nice place tho…
Tonight was awful. 2 waitresses and waited over 35 minutes to even get an order for a soda after having to tell the hostess. The hostess then had to have the bartender (not his job) come and take our order. Waited over an hour for a medium pizza and 2 piece fried cod. Had to go and ask for our food twice. Still no service from the waitress who were running around like a chicken with their head cut off. The pizza was under cooked and the cheese was disgusting. Wasted our money it was all horrible food and service. Thank goodness for the bartender our we probably wouldn’t have even got to eat dinner . Seen other guest wait 35+ mins longer and not get waited on and leave .
