Oh. My. Word. I ordered the beet salad and arancini for lunch. It was to die for!! The beet salad was like dessert and would have been enough for lunch. Definitely on my list to come back.

We were visiting our daughter in Baltimore and we have been trying different restaurants in Little Italy each time we come.
This trip we decided to give Cafe Gia a try, and it was fantastic. It was our favorite of the 6 we have eaten at in Little Italy.
The owner was really nice, she sat and chatted with us for a few minutes. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful and to save the best for last, the food was amazing.
We will definitely be returning.

We were able to seated quickly and everyone was so nice. The waitress told my daughter to try the gnocchi and she loved it! Gia came over to talk to us and made sure everything was perfect. Beautiful flowers were everywhere. We definitely would go back. Little Italy was a wonderful experience!

This is one of my favorite Little Italy restaurants in Fells Point! It’s quaint and has character. The staff is really friendly and their specials are always delicious! The regular menu has some phenomenal options – but be sure to always ask about the daily specials. We got the crab ravioli (heavenly!) and the branding with risotto – also incredible. It’s a great spot for a date night or just a dinner with friends. They have a cute outside area during the nicer weather. There are many great Italian spots in this area, but Gia’s stands out among the rest!

As soon as we got in, we felt right at home. It has a very warm and inviting atmosphere. Our server was so attentive and enthusiastic about the specials and food. We felt very well taken care of. The table was wobbly and our server even fixed it without us asking! The food arrived and it was delicious. Italian comfort food at its finest. At the end of the meal, the owner (Giovanna) even came by and spoke with us. She is so kind and we are so thankful we found this place!!

Great spot! We came here before a show at Pier 6 so the location was convenient. Food was excellent- especially the octopus appetizer and cannoli dessert. The vibe was outstanding. The tables were hand painted art and just beautiful. We will definitely come back here!

Things to like and dislike. I was looking forward to trying Gia’s – Nonna was on site to assist with seating; thought this was going to be great. Menu was not extensive so figured what was on it should be good. It was not. Started with calamari & shrimp which was okay-some chewy bites. Entree’s were (1) the pot roast, which was served on pieces of polenta served without vegetables. Beef was tender and polenta was polenta; (2) rock fish special served with clams & muscles in a tomato-based sauce. This dish was fair somewhat overcooked; (3) pumpkin ravioli special in a brown butter sauce. This was pretty good, but wouldn’t order again. Actually, I would not go to this restaurant again. We left not feeling great about our meals, not bothering to take any leftovers. They had what they called ‘Italian Soda’ but it was just a canned San Pellegrini flavored beverage, nothing special. Cute design and decor. Small place. Nice server but he spoke too quickly about dishes and we had to have him repeat almost everything.

Like this place a lot! Came from Boston where the Italian food is legendary, so when I say this place can compete with them, I think it means a bit more. Very tasty pasta, ambiance is excellent and quaint, staff are super friendly, and most importantly, food is flavorful and well priced! Definitely worth a visit when in little Italy, 10/10 would recommend!

We were looking for a good Italian restaurant and they have a few in the area but this one caught our attention and I’m so happy we found Cafe Gia. It was an amazing experience. The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor seating area, we decided to stay inside and the decorations are so beautiful and welcoming. It’s like you are walking into someones house and they are very happy to see you. The staff was super friendly, quick with the service and very helpful with our questions. The food was delicious and tasted amazing. Very delicate flavors that makes you feel like you are eating home cooked food. We were so impressed that we went to the kitchen to thank the staff because it was unbelievable!!! I’ll definitely come back again. A quick disclosure, this was the only restaurant we visited in the Little Italy area, I imagine there are other good ones, but this one was an amazing experience. I’ll highly recommend it

This was such a cute, quaint little Italian restaurant. I’m in town for a work conference and it’s within walking distance of the hotel. The food was delicious and everyone I went with loved their meal choices. They do no separate checks, which we didn’t know prior to dining but was fine with us. I know that can be a little bit of a down side for some.
