I have visited Pho Viet in Five Points a few times now. I usually get the chicken pho and their shrimp spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce. I have always enjoyed my experience! Their broth is fresh and soothing and the meat is tender. The only thing I notice is that the toppings are often not so fresh (wilted basil or bean sprouts are not firm). For me, this is minor, but something to consider before coming to eat. Overall, I love coming to Pho Viet for a warm, comforting meal!

This place was great. The pho was delicious, food was hot, staff were friendly, prices were reasonable. Recommend going.

Okay… so this place wasn’t it for sure.
There’s only 1 person working the front counter who also is the waiter. Our order came out all wrong, we couldn’t get his attention for anything we needed because he was running around to everyone else (they need to hire more waiters), the beef stew isn’t normally spicy but that day it was extremely spicy and I let him know about it and he said “well that’s how it comes and I can’t do anything about it”. We eat at the two notch location all the time, which is great! So would recommend driving that extra 10 minutes to have a better eating experience.

Love this place. Have been coming here for years. Service and food is great. We got the chicken pho and pork vermicelli. I am stopping just giving the 5 stars up front because I feel like I need to reserve those for exceptionally rare places. Otherwise that’s what I would have done.

Passing through Columbia and decided to try something different. Most of the Pho places I looked up in the area were closed until later in the evening but, thankfully, this one was open and did not disappoint. It was my first time trying Pho and I placed my to-go order online. I decided to try the beef stew. It was sooo good and a new favorite of mine the next time I’m in the area. The portions were great and I actually really enjoyed the authenticity of this meal. Wish I had pictures but I ate it so fast I forgot to take some.

Service was great. Pho was okay – broth was good, but the brisket meat had a slightly weird texture & the toppings weren’t all that fresh. Prices were reasonable.

Walk in and you smell the fragrance of their food that makes you ready to eat. Their Beef Stew Soup is one of my favorites. Always hot and fresh and delicious. I also enjoy the pork and veggie spring rolls. If you go there you gotta try their Beef Stir fry noodles. The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable for the large amounts of food you get. One thing I wish would change is that they should get rid of the annoying fly that kept bothering us the last time we were there

Came in on a Friday night. Wasn’t as pack as I imagine. Service was great. Majority of our party got Pho which came out in a relatively decent time, but one in our group have the froed rice and it took a while to be made( by a while I mean half of us were done eating) Portion was a good amount. Just be cautious of parking since it’s in downtown. Other than that I recommend #10 Pho

This place is legit. Wife & I had the Pho Dac Biet #10. The bowl was huge, filled with goodness – aromatic burning hot rich beef broth, tender & succulent cuts of beef, and fresh & silky rice noodles. The iced milk coffee was strong & sweet, text book formula. The fried spring rolls were crunchy good. We will return soon, even though we’re 70 miles away.
