I’ve only been here once so far. The place appeared nice and clean, and the staff was very nice!
I got the “Grilled Steak Sandwich” with “fresh fruit” for $8.99.
The sandwich itself was pretty good! The cooked onions were amazing on the sandwich, the bread was very good, and the meat was good, but not ‘medium rare’ and indicated on the menu.
The fruit was…fine, but didn’t seem all that ‘fresh’.
If the fruit had been a little fresher and the meat had actually been medium rare, I would definitely be giving it a solid 5 STARS! Definitely a good place for sandwiches, especially for the price, and I would certainly order this again!

I’ve always been a fan of Newks, but the inconsistencies with food quality is ridiculous. I got a simple salad and it was so poorly made and the lemon vinaigrette dressing was horrible. I can make a salad at home but it’s been that dressing that makes me go to Newks. It’s was like bitter lemon water and at $10 for a salad no meat, I expect better.

Got a salad from here and had to deconstruct it because so much of the lettuce looked dirty, unwashed, and with black sludge on it. Ended up just throwing it out. Now just praying what I did eat of it doesn’t make me sick later. So gross.

It’s a quiet place. This was our first time coming . Thought the menu at the front door was different . Never seen that before. People were friendly enough. It is ok almost 20 minutes to get a sandwich. A sandwich .. it was busy but not swamped. Now the sandwich was good I got a club couldn’t taste the bacon but it was good. The fruit looked old and awful. If I were to rate i, it would get a 0. Bakes chips are not my thing. The sandwich was good but bathrooms were dirty I walked in and walked back out. They seemed to have a lot of help for the place to look like that. Don’t get the fruit and if u don’t want baked chips just get the sandwich

This location has been great for years, but the last year or so, it has gone down hill in a big way. Maybe a bad manager or something, but not really sure the reason.

Great little sandwich spot. Nice staff, clean, and tasty food! They have every kind of soda you can imagine, plus a pepper bar that you can pick all kind of extras from. You have to try their French dip sandwich when you come by. Definately worth a stop in!
