The double bacon cheeseburger was good, the fries had no salt so that was disappointing, the garlic cheese curds were awesome. The gal working the front register could use a little training on how to pack food in a bag. She put the sauce on the very bottom then the napkins then it looked like she threw the burger and fries in at the same time and whichever way they landed they stayed… I had 5 separate bags of food and all the fries were spilled out and the sauces were spilled out due to the lack of knowing how to pack the food in a bag. BURGER ON THE BOTTOM THEN FRIES THEN NAPKINS AND SAICE… Fast food restaurants don’t take the time to train their employees on such a simple yet important part of serving customers… I’d say all the fast food places here do the same thing… by the time you get your napkins out they are full of grease from being on the BOTTOM of the bag… other then this issue with the packing of the bags everything else was great. The service was extremely fast they made 5 combo meals in under 10 minutes so that was good. Just work on the bag packing please!!!

I’ve been here twice now. Fresh ingredients. Jumbo double lacks flavor and consists of mustard and pickles. Double whammy is more tasty, comes with vegetables such as lettuce and tomatoes, a custom bun, and a tangy signature sauce. I’m not sure if the bun is made in house but I have never seen it before and it is soft. I think they’re confused on the sizes of the 1/4 and 1/3. My friend ordered a double jumbo cheese and his patties were bigger than mine, but I was supposed to have the larger patty, the menu shows 1/4 for the jumbo double and 1/3 for the double whammy. I recommend a double whammy because it has more flavor. As far as sides go, I would recommend the french fries over the gems and getting the fry sauce because it is yummy but I think it’s basically just ketchup mixed with mayonnaise.

We had a really good experience here, especially the customer service! Definitely that gets 5 stars! The munchers and onion rings were so amazing! The soda was a little flat and they no longer have crushed ice, which was disappointing, but the amazing service and great food made up for it!

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to share a recent experience my family and I had at the Paul Bunyan Restaurant in Coeur d’Alene, ID, that left us feeling disappointed and unwelcome.
Last night, as a family of four, we decided to dine at your establishment. Upon our arrival, we walked into the restaurant and proceeded to the counter. At that time, the lobby and dining area had approximately six other customers present. However, to our surprise, a female worker approached us and informed us that the lobby was closed.
We couldn’t help but notice that other customers were still allowed in the lobby, which led us to inquire about the policy. We politely asked where the restriction was posted, only to receive vague responses from the staff. Despite the full parking lot and two cars in the drive-thru, we were singled out as the only people of color present, while the other patrons were of Caucasian descent.
It is disheartening to feel discriminated against based on our skin color, especially when there seemed to be no valid reason for us to be asked to leave while other customers were allowed to stay in the lobby. We believe that all customers should be treated with equality and fairness, regardless of their race or ethnicity.
We kindly urge you to review your policies and ensure that all guests are treated respectfully and without bias. Discrimination has no place in any business establishment, and we hope that steps will be taken to address this issue to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

Food is great. Service is kids who don’t know what to do in life situations but are responsible for your food. Threw all four burgers at the bottom of the bag with everything on top. Smashed all out of shape. Asked if the mozzarella sticks came with a sauce. Like Mariana. Received a blank stare before they finally remembered that yes, they have sauce. Not too happy handing food out at the park to eat.

Mainstay of downtown Coeur d’Alene (pronounced like Quarter-lane) fast food on hot days. This place is tucked away but I recommend the Huckleberry Shake when in season. Staff prepared the Ultimate Whammy with a single pattie per my request. Fries hot, crunchy with the right amount of salt. All delicious! Thanks staff!
