This place is one of the food landmarks that everyone should try. Their famous Gordita with carnitas meat is our favorite and highly recommend. They have a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner foods to choose from. Portion sizes are hefty and you will be satisfied at the end of your meal. The choices of Aguas frescas are extensive and each one is a home run in our opinion. They also have a great snack menu ranging from fruit to tosti-ocos and if you don’t know what that is. Try it! We come here all the time and the location is not far from where we live. If you’re from out of town they do speak English and Spanish here only to our knowledge. They have restrooms still available for use and they use safe procedures in every aspect of their business.

It was Sunday, and the Place was crowded and not much to sit. Many people were there for the Menudo. Got a Taco with Burrito which I was dissatisfied with the size of the burrito. Taco was good and flautas looked delicious. I will try the Flautas next time.

They serve great food at a decent price, it’s not that cheap but also not that expensive. you do have to wait a bit for your food to be made if there is a long line of customers but it’s not a long wait time vs other restaurants I have been to that make Mexican food.
parking is available right next to the restaurant from their own private parking lot to free street parking without a meter! I’ve been to places where you have to pay for parking just about everywhere in the city just to be able to get some lunch. They accept cash, debit and credit cards, visa Master cards, etc. They have some of the BEST Aguas Frescas, I love their mixed fruit one and the pineapple water. I highly recommend this place to you if you are ever in the El Sereno area. I live in Highland Park and come here just to grab some lunch.

Drinks are really good, and the food is delicious. There are some items better than others but overall everything is good. The place is super clean and the crew too, furthermore the environment is peaceful. Personally I enjoy coming to this place for lunch.

Its a pretty nice place with parking lot and street parking the beans are good the rice but the carnitas and meat need attention to be a Michoacán style food you need to focus on your carnitas and pork plates as Michoacán is known by its delicious carnitas ..the customer service is great and its a clean place with wheel chair access need to try the deserts they look good…
