But what really stood out was the service. Our server Jasmine was awesome. Great smile, super friendly, and just a fun personality that made the whole experience even better. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does.
I regret not catching the manager’s name, because the team there is clearly doing something right. Between the drinks, the atmosphere, and the service, this spot made a great impression while I’m in town. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Philadelphia.
The Food was pretty good, I tried their tasting menu and I got the Mussels as the first course which were really good. The Steak was okay, It was kind of dry in my opinion but to each it’s own!
Great Restaurant but even better people! I recommend coming here and grabbing a drink with these two!
The food you ask? Top notch if I may say so myself! Every dish was crafted with care and bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the desert, everything was plated to please the eye and tasted even better than I could have ever imagined. You could tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.
Although, what truly elevated the experience was our waitress Kaitlyn. She was an absolute gem; attentive without hovering, genuinely kind, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Her timing was flawless, her recommendations were spot-on, and made us feel as if we were VIPs from start to finish. Honestly, one of the best servers I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.
If you’re looking for a place that nails the trifecta of food, ambiance, and service this is it. I’ll absolutely be coming back!
For coffee lovers, they do offer regular coffee, but if you’re into flavored coffee, you won’t find that here. Now, let’s talk about the food. The shrimp and grits were definitely a highlight — rich, creamy cheese sauce and a generous portion of shrimp. The portion size is hefty enough that you could probably get away with just that, as it’s very filling. If you’re still hungry after, go ahead and order something else.
I saw somewhere that their buttermilk pancakes were rated among the top 7 in Philly, but I wasn’t impressed. They were on the dry side — not terrible, but there are definitely better pancakes out there.
As for the pricing, it was pretty reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Two orders of shrimp and grits and an order of pancakes came to $60, which didn’t break the bank.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend the shrimp and grits and would return to try more from their brunch menu!
