We were so excited to eat this place, we saw the reviews and went to have lunch. The burgers are really disappointing and specially for the price. We got two burgers one of the was the smokehouse burger and it was super greasy, I could tell the patty was frozen. The other one was the jalapeño burger and it was mid the jalapeños were not even grilled. The fries are okay, the onion rings are not good. The guy that was working there was very friendly, but the food itself it was such a disappointment. We paid 50 something dollars and we didn’t even finish the food because it was just not good.

Nice beer selection for a small place. Jalapeño cheddar burger was incredible but the November special was a Juicy Lucy burger and I could have put TWO away if the fries weren’t so good. I forgot what they called it but it was incredible. They also had ice cream that looked tasty but I didn’t have room for. Chair/table setup out front was the only thing that could use improving. The burgers were off the charts though.

Family of four visited. The service was attentive; I devoured the quad Smashburger. It was juicy, fresh-ground beef that’s top-notch. The rest of the fam shared originals each, plus fries and fried okra (okra had a delicious smoky kick; fries were solid but forgettable). Kids were meh overall. Cozy vibe in a tiny space (max 49 per fire marshal plaque). Pricey at $95 for four burgers, drinks, one fry & one okra; but quality shines. Worth a try!

Tejas Burger Joint is a delightful spot for a casual dinner! My husband and I stopped by on our way home and were impressed with the recommendations from the staff. We tried the smokehouse burger and the old town burger, both of which were bursting with flavor. The food arrived quickly, within 10 minutes, and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The fries and onion rings were fresh and perfectly cooked, not overly fried, which made them a great side. Additionally, parking was easy with plenty of spots available across the street, and it made for a nice little stroll across Main Street to get to the restaurant. Overall, Tejas Burger Joint is a fantastic choice if you’re in the mood for delicious burgers!

This is a small burger-centric diner. They offer hand spun shakes, ice cream scoops ( Bluebell, of course), beers, and mainly delicious smash burgers. Easily in my top 3 burgers of all time. The operating crew is very nice and very attentive. It is wheelchair accessible and kid friendly. All the food I have eaten here has been delicious. Definitely 5 stars on service and food. As with any old building, this one has its quirks. Watch for wet spots when it rains and watch your step as you walk in!!!! Enjoy!!!!

Burgers are just ok and overpriced. I ordered sweet potato fries and they gave me regular fries. They did bring me another order of sweet potato fries but it was like half sweet potato fries and half regular fries and they were burnt. Small portion of fries for the price. Potatoes are cheap so they should give you a generous portion of fries. There are much better places for burgers and sweet potato fries so I won’t be returning.
