This place was awesome! We were specifically looking for a place selling swordfish and im glad this was the one we went with. The staff were super nice and helpful and let us know the specials right away. Make sure you call ahead if you are looking for a specific fish and so you can reserve a table bc they were super busy when we went. The food was really really good, boyfriend had the swordfish, rice and the chowder. He said it was all really good, the chowder was their signature soup that night. I had the 14 Oz NY strip steak, fries and hush puppies, all of which was also good. NY strip was cooked really well and was flavorful on its own, good grill marks, tasty char. As an app we got the Gator tail which was fresh and tasty, dipped in the shrimp garlic Butter was great. We are only here traveling but if we lived in the area, we would 1000% be back ❤️

Always a great time with great food!! Niney and her staff are beyond great!! We went all the time when they opened and went back years later to the same great service! Your satisfaction is her priority! If it’s wrong she’s going to make it right!! Don’t let the location fool you! Superb service and food quality!! Love them!!!

Three of us came for dinner this evening. Our waitress was excellent. We all tried a cup of the chowder. It was amazing. We all also had rock shrimp which are seasonal. The rock shrimp tonight were larger than normal and especially delicious. Two of us had baked potatoes. They were also excellent. I loved the salt on the outside of the potato skin (I ate the skin too). The cole slaw was creamy and tasty. Not too sweet. One of us had the sauté veggies. They were also wonderful. Lastly, the hush puppies. I love hush puppies. And JC Riptides are some of the best I have had. Wonderful dining experience tonight.

This place reminds me of an old hometown atmosphere! Warm and inviting. They were extremely busy, but out waitresses made sure to run buy to make sure we were not in need of anything! Grate attitude always smiling and extremely good at her job!

My family of 6 went this week and it was great! Our server was amazing!! We ate out all week and by far she was the best server we had… so attentive and friendly but not overbearing. They were out of the rock shrimp but it didn’t matter, there were plenty of other great things. We ate scampi, swordfish, scallops, chicken, and a sampler platter. We enjoyed all of it. If I could criticize anything it would be the bake potato, it was rubbery but the other sides were tasty. Thanks for a fun experience!

Over all I thought it was a great meal and my Prime Rib was cooked well.
Was a little warm in the area we were sitting but over all I would definitely go back to try the seafood.
Must go early for some items because we were there at 6pm and ribs, rock shrimp and grouper was gone.

Though there was a mix up with our reservations (highly recommended) that someone else took(rude) I was excited to try this place. It did not disappoint!! I chose ribs, homemade BBQ sauce with a baked potato and salad. It was so good!! My seat mates chose fried shrimp, Mahi Mahi, fried catfish and rock shrimp. Everyone was impressed. Came out hot and it was wonderful. Highly recommend but will need reservations for sure.

Good place to eat, wouldn’t call it great. We had Conch Fritters for an Appetizer, they were good but were basically Hush puppies with a little bit of meat that we couldn’t really taste. I would recommend just getting an order of Hush puppies for half the money. We shared the Davy Jones Locker platter with a baked potato and Cole slaw. The cole slaw was very disappointing, not much flavor to it. The platter was mostly great though, I didn’t feel like the crab legs were the best but everything else on the platter was great.

The staff up front were not welcoming at all. The waitress was very rude, rushed and uncaring. The food was nothing to be impressed with. Kids macaroni is Kraft, the hush puppies taste like nothing but fried bread, and the French fries taste like fish grease.
