I’m very frustrated with this location and for good reason. Won’t be coming here again if I can avoid it. I’ve come in quite often and sometimes sit at the tables or sometimes eat in my car, but there’s a man who comes in just as often around midday and he’s clearly down on his luck. I have no problem with that, however, today I lost my job and went in to use a gift card because I can’t afford to use my actual money as much as I can, and he slunk in behind me as usual. The lady behind the counter always has food ready for him (I assume on the house) and immediately when he came in he starts asking me for change. I was at the register trying to pay for my food with the gift card and told him I don’t carry change. I used my gift card and there was still money owing so I had two 5$ in my hand and paid the lady $5. He continued to pester me so I gave him the other $5 just to get out of the uncomfortable situation. I’m very frustrated the lady on staff who provides him free food didn’t tell him to stop pestering the customers for money RIGHT AT THE REGISTER!!! It doesn’t matter if I’m down on my luck (Or if he’s down on his luck), he shouldn’t be begging for money inside the Subway establishment and the employees are allowing it to happen. Almost encouraging it since they aren’t putting a stop to his behavior. If it’s outside the establishment, it wouldn’t bother me, but I was stuck at the register until the transaction was finished. I know he does it often and it’s really getting on my nerves. I wanted to come and eat in peace and instead I got swindled for money (that I really need right now) when the employees should have put a stop to it. It’s not the first time I’ve seen him asking people for money inside this establishment either.
Previous times he’s come in and sat in a chair and would ask the lady if she had food for him today and she said she does (Like a slice of pizza) etc, yet he’ll still beg for money and even more food than what the woman generously offered him, when food is provided to him free of charge and she won’t put a stop to it.
I’ve been here multiple times and I always cringe when I see him coming from across the street because I know he’ll scan the establishment and look for targets to beg. I can’t relax when I come here knowing he might be around the corner. Really disappointed by this uncomfortable situation I keep getting thrown into because this man doesn’t know boundaries and Subway employees won’t enforce that he can’t beg inside the establishment.
He wears neutral colored clothes, has a white beard, and looks like he’s about 60-70 years old. Slender. He starts with complimenting you then will go straight into asking for money. Avoid this location if possible. I’m normally a really kind, generous person, but this seems too intrusive to be begging people at the cash register instead of outside where people aren’t stuck and can get away from him if they want.

I would also like to add: The lady who makes the Sandwhiches never speaks higher than a whisper so you can never hear what she’s asking you. I speak loud and clear every time and she still has to ask the same question multiple times so IDK if there’s a language barrier or if she can’t hear past the glass? The shredded lettuce often looks a bit sad, but now I’m just knit-picking.

Waited for a pick up order. Two people already in store they served first before starting my order. Totally fine. They were here in person and online orders can get lost. What isn’t fine is they kept serving walk-ins that came in after me despite my order saying “ready for pickup” and not even being started yet.

I came in to the store to order a couple of sandwiches. When I walked in it looked ok but once I got to the counter to make my sandwich I noticed how old all the vegetables looked which made the whole sandwich unappetizing. The lettuce was turning brown and the tomatoes looks soggy. I also asked for lightly toasted and my bread was burnt at the end and not cut all the way open.

I went in and there was only one person working, who spoke very little English.
Confusion with the new frozen yogurt menu makes a simple transaction take 10 minutes and the guy calls his manager and makes the lady talk to her. This lady wasn’t even upset, she just kept emphasizing “hey the ice cream is melting, i just want my change so i can leave” and it still took 5 more minutes before she got the change.
Overall the interaction was SO weird and left everyone uncomfortable.

This is the second location I have tried to do online ordering and they always have a problem with it. At this current location there was one employee on staff at 1:30 which is lunch time and she did not speak the best English unfortunately and she was really struggling by herself to even check out the guy in front of me for one drink or understand what I was ordering. Had I not done an online order I would have left like the four other people behind me did.

I’ve been to many subways over the years and this one, I’ve been to over 30 times and have never had a bad sandwich. Since you can see them making your sandwich, you can quickly catch them if they get something wrong. This location is not very busy, usually which is super helpful cause subway lines can get out of control. I think it’s just the location causing the slow customers. The only thing I’d suggest they do better, is their drink selection. They have a cooler with bottled drinks but only a few fountain options. Overall great store!

I enjoy going to Subway often, though they often vary in experience from store to store. This was one of the best examples on how to not run a sandwich shop. The staff seems to be changed out fairly often, indicating some level of mismanagement. As a result, it is common for the staff here to be inexperienced and have great difficulty with common and uncommon questions alike, and they seem to be often left here without any kind of lifeline. They are often out of drinks and types of bread leading to frustrating experiences. It is also infuriating that the preset portions of some fixings is so miniscule that I must ask for more many times before I am even able to taste it, unless I am stopped short because the employee has had their job threatened in the past for providing more than half a damn olive.
With all this in mind, I think anyone, job hunters and patrons alike, would be better suited to go anywhere else but here.
