I’m a local who lives nearby and my wife and I get shakes here a few times a month.
The ice cream is pretty good, we like it. The variety is great. The speed of service and the prices are both reasonable and good.
My only major complaint is that I tend to go through the drive through, and my order is wrong about 40-50% of the time, no exaggeration. It doesn’t matter who it is either, it’s always a different person, we experience the same problem. It’s not a difficult order, either, usually a caramel heath bar shake and a chocolate malt with cookie dough. Even when they read it back right, they still get my order wrong. It’ll be missing cookie dough or the heath bar or something, the problem changes a lot.
I don’t really know what it is, but it’s frustrating. Charlie’s is a mainstay in Logan and of course we’ll still visit and recommend people visit it and it puts a lot of kids through college, so it’s whatever, but I certainly hope I can have our order consistent some day.

I used to love coming here. But lately, the workers aren’t very nice. Not only is the service declining, but the size of ice cream is one of the reasons I won’t be back. I asked for a two scoop adult size for the dish and this is what I got. The two scoop ice cream in a dish used to reach the line or above it. Now, it’s way below. I asked when I got the ice cream, “Is this two scoop adult size? This looks like a one scoop.” The worker looked at me like I was dumb and said, “Yes. That’s how they are.”She proceeded to quickly hand me my ice cream. I have always chosen Charlie’s over every other ice cream place here in town. I notice small things like size and portion. Now that they are choosing smaller portion for same price, I’ll have to go somewhere else.

Charlie’s is a great ice cream shop if you’re in Logan. There’s a big variety of shakes, hard ice cream and solf serve ice cream. Their shakes are perfectly thick and really tasty. I took off a star because they utilize alot of canned fruit and syrups for flavoring. I think they would really be top-notch if they utilized fresh and in-season fruits when they could. Pictured is a banana shake they make with real bananas instead of flavoring. Very yummy.

My favorite place. I order the same thing every time, once or twice a week. The only thing I’m uncertain of is how much it will cost that day. The price varies, sometimes by a couple dollars, for the exact same order. Maybe it’s the way the order is being entered in the register? Either way, the staff is very quick and my order is always delicious. They’re doing it right.

I’m a big fan of cookies and cream, and Charlie’s is excellent! Thick, creamy, high quality — would recommend this place to anyone! Shakes and malts are pretty good, but just a good old-fashioned hard scoop is the way to go in my opinion.

We went to go get ice cream tonight and when we pulled up to the window an employee named Emma buck came over and gave us the nastys glare. No customer should ever be treated like this. She needs to grow and put her big girl pants on and be nice to all the customers.

Fast service and some of the best Ice cream around! Unlike a lot of places, Charlie’s makes their own ice cream, allowing them to control the entire process for quality and freshness.
They serve hard and soft ice cream here but I personally usually come for the milk shakes. They have dozens of varieties and flavors so you’re sure to find something that perfectly fits your mood. I personally like their strawberry shortcake and fudge brownie flavors.
If you’re in town, be sure to stop by for a delicious and reasonably-priced treat!

Charlie’s has really good ice cream. My favorite is the hot fudge brownie shake and the German chocolate is pretty good too. I recently tried the butterfinger shake and I would say the first half of the shake was 90% vanilla ice cream and that was disappointing. But towards the bottom there was some more butterfinger which was relieving.

Decent place for ice cream. It was the first trip here for my family. Our almost 2 year old loved her strawberry ice cream. Our 7 year old like the mint chocolate chip in a dish with a cone. Our 9 year old enjoyed his bubblegum ice cream in a dish. My wife liked her coconut cream pie shake. My brownie and got fudge shake was decent. We wouldn’t have a problem going back. The service was amazing!! They were friendly, very helpful, and patient!
