I’ve been here a few times with my husband, daughter, cousin and other family members. The restaurant is located off 39th Avenue across from Chik-fil-A and behind Mukja Korean Barbecue restaurant. Parking is limited in the front section of the restaurant. More parking at the left side of the building.
The employees are nice and welcoming. The interior is clean, not so bright, slightly dark interior and comfortable vibe.
We have ordered and tried the following:
-Bento box with beef and mixed tempura. (yummy )
-Dynamite roll (it’s ok)
-Crunch Shrimp roll (yummy )
-Seaweed salad (yummy )
-Epic Spicy Tuna roll (yummy )

As a Gaikokujin, I find this is sushi amazing. So far the best spot I’ve found in the south puget sound area. They even had otoro. I will make this my regular sushi spot.

Just left after a delicious mother’s day meal at Sushi Ari, and they didn’t disappoint. We are fairly new to sushi ari and this was our 3rd time in less than a year, but the food and service were unforgettable. Food came out quickly and hot and fresh. Without speaking too much about the overall service, I think what has really made our experience special not just today but in the past times we’ve been out to eat here, was Kody (unsure of spelling). Today she was our waitress/working the front end all by herself, and despite being incredibly busy, handling the constant dinner crowd and people waiting to pick up to go orders, managing the cash register, taking phone call orders, while STILL waiting on and BUSSING ALL the tables, she did it all with a genuine smile, all without breakfast or lunch! I hope the rest of Sushi Ari gives her the recognition she deserves because she is a true gem! Her 3 years of experience at Sushi Ari really shines through with her expertise in handling the non-stop rush that we were a part of today. Even though it was busy, the food was very delicious and well prepared. We especially highly recommend the Poke Bowl, Salmon Lover’s Roll and Fried Brussel Sprouts, and don’t forget to try their lemonade! Sorry didn’t take a picture to do it justice.

Staff is super friendly and food is phenomenal at a good price!
I find myself going weekly and wanting to try something new while feeding my salmon addiction. The Hamachi Kama is amazing, good luck on getting your hands on it though!
The staff are fun to talk, yes I come for the food but also for the staff as well. I can go on all day, but you just have to try it for yourself!

The food was delicious. Service was okay, the lady was really though and friendly. Just took longer than expected but to be fair it was only one server. The food came out really fast which was nice. We got our appetizer and maybe 5 mins later the food came out.

Stopped here for lunch and had a quick and delicious meal. The miso was flavorful, and the sushi amazing. The price was also great, less than $20! Come here for a great meal by yourself or with others. Definitely will be back!

Yakisoba noodles are made with spaghetti noodles. The sauce they are made with taste like ketchup. I ordered the fisherman’s delight from the sushi roll section and I could not taste anything other than the mayonnaise. The California roll was mid. The staff is attentive and polite. I really wanted to like this place as it’s local and a small business. I unfortunately will not come back. After I told the waiter that I did not like my dishes they still charged me full price for my food that I did not eat. I get it, I ordered it but no accommodations were even offered.

This is one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever been to. In fact, it’s my new favorite! The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. We ordered the octopus, the salmon lovers with lemon, and the kiss me mucho sushi. Everything was fantastic!

I love Sushi Ari Japanese Restaurant! They have such a kind, friendly staff! The atmosphere is clean, calming and inviting! They make the best sushi and Potstickers in Puyallup! I also love their soup, green tea and their amazing Mango and Green Tea Mochi! ! I love to get lunch with my friend there!
