Where things start to fall off is consistency and construction. The pizza was clearly hand pressed, which isn’t a bad thing at all, but one side of the pie was noticeably thicker than the other. You could really feel it bite to bite. On one slice there was way too much sauce, and on the opposite side it was just the right amount, which tells me the balance just needs fine-tuning. A nice dough press would be key for consistency and would make a huge difference overall. With a more even crust, I honestly think they could use less sauce and cheese, still charge the same price, and end up with a better, more balanced pizza while also improving margins .
The drink selection was very limited, which stood out, especially if you’re sitting down to eat. Atmosphere-wise, the place was extremely quiet. It was around 7 PM, and I was the only customer in the restaurant. There was no music playing at all, so the space felt a bit empty and flat ❌. Even some light background music would help the vibe a lot.
That said, the staff was super friendly, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant to deal with . The service was great, and you could tell they care, which goes a long way. That’s really the main reason for the 3-star rating.
Overall, Cirino’s Pizza is very close to being something special. With better consistency, a dough press, a little attention to balance, and a stronger atmosphere, this place could easily move up a star or two. I’d definitely be willing to come back and see how it evolves
Oh—and did I mention the ranch is homemade?! So freaking good!
The sausage was burnt to the point that the tops were charred. It seemed like someone made a pepperoni pizza then later added sausage. It also didn’t taste fresh. Was honestly disappointed.
The cheese pizza was better but not by much. The crust was good on the cheese at least.
The employees were nice but won’t be going back.
Thank you so much for this invitation @chef_javii
This one’s been the in the works for a minute now and I was so excited to try. I’m a sucker for that wood fired taste, not to mention it’s made with sourdough. Yum!
Two of my favorite things!
Menu options are on point and the vegetarian style pizza was My Fav Definitely a must try.

I ordered The Boss Meat Pizza, and it was phenomenal—loaded with pork carnitas, steak carne asada, pepperoni, chorizo, and perfectly melted mozzarella. The crust had that perfect char from the oven, crispy on the outside and soft inside. Every bite was full of bold, savory flavor.
We also tried the BBQ Chicken Pizza, which had a smoky sweet balance with roasted corn and red onions that gave it a unique and delicious twist. The Honey Bee Pizza was a surprise favorite too—the combination of hot honey, jalapeños, and fresh mozzarella created the perfect sweet-heat combo.
As a starter, we shared the Caprese Salad, and it was one of the freshest I’ve had—slices of creamy mozzarella paired with heirloom cherry tomatoes, crisp greens, and drizzled with fig balsamic reduction. Absolutely refreshing and beautifully presented.
We paired the pizzas with a glass of red and white wine—clearly, they know how to create a full dining experience.
To wrap it up, we had the Tiramisu for dessert—light, creamy, and the perfect touch of espresso flavor. A great end to an incredible meal.
Service was prompt and attentive, and the vibe is cozy yet modern. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or sitting down with friends or family, Cirino’s delivers both quality and flavor across the board.
Highly recommend this hidden gem—Mesa is lucky to have them!
