I ordered the carbonara at Vesuvio’s and it was exactly what I was craving. The pasta came out perfectly coated in a rich, creamy sauce with great flavor and just the right amount of cheese. Super comforting, super satisfying. The portion was generous too definitely worth the price.
The staff were friendly, and the whole vibe of the restaurant felt cozy and authentic. If you’re in the mood for a creamy pasta done right, I highly recommend their carbonara. I’d absolutely come back for it!

This place is a hidden treat. We ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza large. The bread was a tasty and crisp crust with a nice flavor with good toppings. Nothing about the experience was short of great. No one was there so made for a great service but people continued to come in for takeout. Recommend when in the area.

Had a wonderful meal tonight! Lindsey was our server and took excellent care of us! My friend had the baked lasagna and I had the grilled chicken with onions, peppers and mushrooms. It was delicious! We both had to get a take out box, the portions are plentiful! Thank you Lindsey for your warm and friendly hospitality.

Three of us girls had lunch here yesterday and it was fabulous! We just happened to see this place when we were in the plaza and so happy we did. We each ordered a different pasta dish and all 3 were great. The garlic knots are to die for! We highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

What an absolute gem this place is. I’m in town for a few days and haven’t been thrilled with the food options around. I called in to order and was pleasantly surprised by how many gluten free options they offered. I picked up an order of Putanesca pasta and an order of bruschetta. Both were fantastic and I am thrilled that they also have a quality gluten free bread option. 5/5 stars all day and will most likely return for lunch tomorrow. If you have a gluten allergy and are searching for Italian cuisine, this is THE place. Thank you!

We had a very nice Friday night dinner at a relatively early time (5:45). The bread was warm and delicious, especially with the olive oil & balsamic vinegar. My wife had a chicken special with a creamy sauce; my mother had a grouper special that included shrimp and scallops; I had the classic chicken piccata. All 3 were excellent, with tasty sauces and complementary pasta. Our house and Greek salads were also great.
We finished by sharing a slice of limencello cake, which was absolutely perfect. Our 3 wines (both of their offered chiantis, plus a Lambrusco) were quite good, too. Service was friendly and reasonably timed, although it could have been a tad bit more quick–but they were quite busy, so we certainly understood. Overall, a very pleasant meal.

Great place to eat good Italian food. I always get the Cheese steak works and it’s always delicious. Most of the time it’s more than I can eat so I save the other half for the next days lunch. It came with homemade chips and ranch. They were crisp and very good. My wife got Chicken Marsala with bread and a side salad. The chicken was quite tasty and plentiful but the salad was a little on the skimpy side. She has plenty of leftovers for her lunch tomorrow. We called the order in and it was ready upon my arrival. If I could give a 1/2 star, I would have rated it 4.5. We will continue to support this great little restaurant.
4/2/22. We just ordered two new items. I got the stuffed shells and they were great. Love the ricotta cheese and marinara sauce. Had a salad with balsamic dressing. Wife ordered cheese ravioli and she really enjoyed them. This place doesn’t disappoint!
4/14/23. In fairness to the whole review process, I’ll do another update. Tonight we dined in and was seated immediately. Wasn’t very busy it appeared. We sat in our seats long enough that we started discussing where else we could go and eat. We were just about to leave when the owners wife came and took our order. Service did move quickly after that. We ordered some side salads and a white cheese type pizza with spinach. Was delicious! However, our drinks were never refilled. The food service industry was hurt after the stupid pandemic and we understand that. I guess we will stick to “take out” from here. As I’ve said above, the food doesn’t disappoint!

I’m honestly extremely disappointed with our meal tonight. We are die hard Vesuvios fans we get pizza weekly but going in was an entirely different experience…If we’re looking past being there for an hour and 38 minutes only 20 of which were spent actually eating, the food was mediocre at best. My pasta was honestly a huge disappointment it was butter noodles and broccoli with a fancy name. Now maybe that’s my fault for falling for the fancy name but 20 dollars for a bowl of cold flavorless butter noodles was outrageous…I still love this place but I’ve definitely learned my lesson on going in to dine versus getting pizza to go.

So disappointed with my meatball hoagie. Taste like frozen meatballs the sauce can not even help bland No taste to the sauce probably from a jar. With a mini order of fries, and I was charged $1.00 for meatballs on top of the price for the meatball hoagie and fry meal !!!!! Pizza is not better but at least I can eat it the meatball sandwich is trash. The only good thing is the hoagie bun…..
