This was a backup choice for dinner as our first choice was slammed and we were hungry. We requested a regular table as we didn’t need a show.

I ordered the three rolls that did not contain either shrimp or crab, which seemed to be 95% of the offerings. I ordered spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and salmon. My wife ordered the Chirashi Don.

The fish was fresh. The rolls were pretty good – nothing special, but I wouldn’t complain eating them again. My wife enjoyed the Chirashi Don saying that the addition of the crunchy crab was nice, but it could have been served warm.

Service was barely adequate. Having not been provided napkins, we asked another server for some and his surliness foreshadowed that he wasn’t going to bring any. With our server pulling the “disappearing waiter” routine, we finally asked one of the busboys for napkins and got some. We didn’t see our waiter until he came by at the end and we requested the bill.

Last weekend (Saturday night) my husband and son ended up dining in at this restaurant. We were instantly greeted, by either the owner or the manager (not sure) and seated right away, we got the regular table, but the hibachi tables were all full and they sounded like they were having fun, all while getting a show from the person cooking their food. Fernando was our waiter and he did pretty good at taking our order, he was very polite and even apologized for any delays we had with our food( we didn’t really wait long.

The only thing I did not like was that one of the employees without even being asked started bad mouthing his coworkers to the customer. Personally I feel it makes the employee look bad as well as the business. Aside from that everything else was great. The food was delicious the sushi was super good. We got the Whataroll(I think that’s what it was called) the Super Dragon, and I forgot the name of the other one. I also got the Steak and Chicken off of the Dinner combination and that too was really good, and of course you can’t forget the beet, Sapporo is a very tasty beer, if you haven’t tried it, do it, or get Asahi it’s also a good Japanese beer.

I will never order to go from this place again. Glad they were open today on Christmas but never again for to go. The food was okay not bad but nowhere near the best hibachi. We ordered 2 combination dinners that added up close to $60. The portions was so small. I can’t believe they charge $25+ for this. Added a photo so yall can see the plate I’m very disappointed felt like I just wasted my money.

Steak and chicken very bland. Salad was good ,not to sweet, shrimp and vegetables had good flavor . Rice was bland. Soup is good. Sushi is decant. Disappointed they didn’t have any traditional sauces to go with the meal(We asked at pick up). Service was super fast for a to go order

Will add to the review after our dine in experience. Everyone deserves a second chance

I really hate that I am making this review but I think it needs to be said. Tokyo is not what it use to be. As someone that eats here 3 to 4 times a month I am so disappointed. The food is out right disgusting. I thought that last time was just because of a new chef but today just proved me wrong. When we walked in at 12:00pm and only 1 person was there it should have been a red flag. We were seated right away as no one was there. We ordered and he came pretty quick to make the food. The first issue was he burnt our rice right away. The server brought us rice from the back and let me just say I would have preferred to eat the burnt rice. It was terrible. The chef continued to cook the rest of our food and needless to say it wasn’t good either. My shrimp was undercooked and the veggies were over cooked. We tried to give them the chance but it was not good. Unfortunately we will not be returning. I hope management will fix this issue.

So I recently moved to Texas from Minnesota, me and parents sat down at a hibachi table with another group of 3 and I noticed a woman’s voice did not have an accent like Texans do, but more like… MINNESOTA! You guessed it…. small world isn’t it.

The food was phenomenal- service was great. I’ll go again… at least 6 times a year (sea food luvaa!!)

If you have never been to a Japanese style steakhouse, I would highly recommend the experience, and the one I would clearly recommend is Tokyo Seafood & Steakhouse off of I-20 and Main St in Weatherford. It is not an inexpensive endeavor, but the entertainment value from a good chef is as valuable as the meal itself.

The food is served in the traditional courses: soup, salad, rice, meats and finally your veggies. I have included shots of each course as they arrived from my steak and scallop order, including a few shots of the artistry that goes into cooking the food while you watch.

I cannot compliment the food here enough. I have been eating here for years and they have some of the freshest sushi (ranging from $5-15/roll), excellent main dishes and some of the best fried rice i have had. However, what makes this restaurant stand out is their level of service. We encountered some of the most polite staff that I have ever seen. Our main server was Ryan, and every answer was either, “Yes, sir.”, “Right away, sir.”, or “My pleasure, sir.” Drinks were refilled before we even knew they were low and at every course change he asked how it was and if we required anything else when he cleared the table for the next round. Other servers, who did not currently have a table would also check on our status while Ryan was tending to our orders. One young woman even mistook my son because of his long hair and referred to him as ‘madame’. When she left, he turned to me and said, “You know, I am not even slightly offended by that since she was so polite about it. Hard to get upset when she’s that nice.”

Over all the experience was great. Excellent food, good conversation with our table and wonderful service. It was the perfect way to cap off a long week of work and it is something I am looking forward to doing again soon.

The chef was great and the food was good but it was hard to enjoy it as it was so cold in there you could see your breath. One group asked them to put the heat on or they would leave and after 20 minutes they got up and left.

This place is a gem for anyone who loves sushi and a good show! The Crazy Dog roll and out control roll are the best!
The hibachi is where the real magic happens. The chefs are absolute entertainers, flipping utensils, creating flaming onion volcanoes, It’s a high-energy performance that’s as fun to watch as it is to eat. The food itself—whether it’s the tender steak, juicy shrimp, or perfectly seasoned fried rice—comes out hot and flavorful every time. It’s a feast for both your taste buds and your eyes.

We have been coming here for a while, but the other day we had Terry as our waitress and sat at the Sushi bar. We truly had an amazing experience. We’ve never had more attentive service, and the sushi chef was cracking jokes with us! They made a sushi roll and let us try a bit, and made us feel right at home. It was such a good time that I was moved to write a review!
