I tried the tripe tacos plus tongue tacos during my first visit with coworkers, honestly the flavor blew me away. These were easily the best tacos I have enjoyed in many years. The menudo soup tasted rich, comforting, plus perfectly seasoned. The overall experience felt warm, authentic, plus memorable. I would happily return to this spot anytime.

This was my first visit & though tacos are now averaging $5 in San Diego, these are delicious & filling. They are served with 4 salsas (salsa fresca was my favorite), a side of roasted peppers & onions. I had some consome & 3 tacos: Protein adobada & 1 suero & 1 crisoy tripas. So tasty. Stop in on tacos Tuesday $3,00 and evenings you can get all sorts of treats like corn & stuffed potatoes. Well worth the trip & the service was excellent.

This was my first visit and it instantly made a strong impression. The tripe and tongue tacos were incredibly flavorful and easily among the best I have enjoyed in a long time. I came with coworkers and everyone had a great time, which made the experience even better. The menudo soup was rich and comforting, adding to an already satisfying meal.

The food is delicious. I had the baked potato with al pastor and Carne Asada. I like the al pastor a little bit better. The potato was huge plenty of seasoning and very filling. I had to take half to go. I was super happy that they had Happy Dad here the death row grape flavor. It’s one of my favorites is actually the reason why I stopped in. I will be back to try the taco Tuesday and I will try some desserts and more Happy Dad had it with a rim of Chamoy and Tahin highly recommend! My server was Laura. I sat at the bar and she was very helpful with recommendations. I love that they have happy hour here and that the food comes out perfectly hot and full of flavor. It feels like you’re in Tijuana.

If you’re looking for good Mexican food, you will like this place. I was there between lunch and dinner, so I don’t know how busy they get, it was not at that time.
I had the tacos de lengua (tong tacos), and if you’ve never had them, take a chance and try them. I promise you will not be disappointed. The meat looks and tastes like any other piece of beef, but it’s very tender. And the way they are prepared here is excellent.
The ambiance is nice. They do play Mexican music, and according to their signs, they have live music on Tuesdays. If you like or don’t mind that style of music you will be comfortable there.
The only service is excellent, and our server was very nice. She helped my sister (a vegetarian) choose suitable food that my sister was very happy with.
There is an outside patio, and ample parking, but keep in mind I was not there at a busy time.

We came here for my girlfriend’s birthday because she loves baked potatoes, and my sister-in-law said this was the spot. She was absolutely right. From the moment we pulled up it was a good vibe. Plenty of parking which already puts you ahead in my book, and the atmosphere was lively and full of energy.
The ladies working there were super friendly and attentive. Every time we asked for more salsa it showed up like magic. No attitude, no waiting forever, just great service. The manager, maybe the owner not 100 percent sure, was also really welcoming and friendly.
I had my service dog with me and usually that turns into a whole thing at most places. He politely asked if she could come in, she said of course, and that was that. No drama. For my fellow dog owners, if my dog cannot come in I am usually not going, but this worked out perfectly.
Now the food. My girlfriend loved her baked potato, birthday mission accomplished. Her horchata was gone in record time. I ordered a michelada that was dangerously good. I had three tacos, adobada and asada, and they were on point. No complaints at all.
To top it off they came out singing happy birthday with great music and made it a whole moment. Prices were very reasonable too, especially for the quality and portions.
Overall this place made her birthday dinner one to remember. I will definitely be back. Their menu is huge and I have a lot more research to do. Thank you to everyone there for making it such a great night.

I know a lot of people on here complain about anything but I can’t hate this spot , minus the blue lives matter flag. They serve amazing tacos and the servers are really sweet and helpful especially with helping with my Spanish! TIL next time friends 🙂

Wife and I got 2 asada burros and 2 drinks. They were delicious. But, $54 good? Absolutely not. The place was super clean and the staff was awesome though. Will I go back? No. You can get a better burro from any number of places in the area for a fraction of the price.

Weird. Walked in. It was slow. Everyone kept walking past me while I stood in the front. After a few minutes someone asked me my name. Told them I wanted to eat here and they pointed me to a counter with desert crepes only. No one came to the counter so I walked away and asked a few workers how to get tacos but they ignored me. Currently in the parking lot ordering by Uber Eats lol
