This was undoubtedly the worst steak I have ever had. I’m pretty sure it was pre-cooked and then just warmed up on the grill. I asked for it to be cooked “medium,” but it was clearly past well-done. $28 for an 8 oz. sirloin is not inexpensive, either. The baked potato was not cooked enough. This restaurant is doing a disservice to anyone who orders food from them. The residents of Scotland Neck as well as visitors deserve better.

First time eating here i had a 10 ounce ribeye and it was chewy and full of fat as well being way over priced,so i gave them a second chance and the 2nd time i ordered the flounder,wich came out looking like a fish potato chip,it was absolutely disgusting,loaded baked potato was obviously microwaved and the steamed vegetables were all broccoli and cauliflower stems and the menu was very confusing with 2 different seafood selections and combos located on different sides of the menu,service was excellent,the food not so much,I would not recommend this place unless your just looking for cocktails.

I recently moved back to Scotland Neck from Philadelphia — home of the cheesesteak! So of course I was pleasantly shocked when I took my first bite of the steak and cheese sandwich IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! Definitely a 10! The sandwich was reasonably priced and did I say DELICIOUS!

This place has amazing food! Took my daughter there last night AND again today for lunch! We were in town to turkey hunt and we’re looking for a good meal. This place hit the spot. The salad bar is well stocked. The steaks were amazing. Today for lunch we both split a large shrimp and oyster plate. There was enough left over for us to take home have a second meal. Scotland Neck is a small quiet town and this place is just what it needed. There’s not many options when it comes to grabbing a meal in Scotland Neck and I’m very appreciative that this establishment is there.

Salad bar was a great surprise. The steak portions offered on the menu are… interesting. Both steaks we ordered came out overcooked at first but our server quickly fixed it. Another buddy ordered the steak sandwich and said it was amazing – it looked it so I’ll go for that next time instead.
